This is very inspiring and it is exactly the kind of transformation I'd like to have! Can I ask - how long does it take you to do the above each day? (Just curious about when/where I would like to fit something like this into my schedule.) Also - do you do anything else? Cardio, yoga, anything? Thanks and congrats on your…

BL makes me sick. I cannot stand the bullying from the trainers. There are ways to motivate people that do not involve humiliation and abuse. It's sensationalist and it perpetuates negative stereotypes about fat people.

If you are at all interested in yoga, I recommend starting with Journey Into Power by Baron Baptiste. It's power yoga (aka vinyasa yoga, a very good workout) and he includes a really nice Cleansing program in the book, as well as tips on motivation and meditation. Very inspiring and very accessible for people new to yoga.

I'm 5'4 and 133 pounds. Currently, before working out, my goal is set at 1260. I work out pretty much daily and I try to eat at least some of those calories back, which puts me at about 1300-1500 a day. On top of that I allow myself one "free" meal per week. It keeps me sane.

I'm 31 with no kids. Feel free to friend me, I'm happy to cheer you on!

I have a pretty similar goal. As long as I'm close, I'll be happy. (I won't fret about a 1-2 pound difference, either way.) Sending you a friend request, perhaps we can cheer each other on. Happy New Year!

I'm new-ish too! Please feel free to add me. My face is very friendly, I promise.

Lose 5 lbs. Practice yoga every day. Start running again (took a break after completing C25K in July).
