I just started on Monday, so this is my first week. I am hopeful- I did great this week! I probably won't weigh in for s few weeks because in the past, that has discouraged me. How is your journey going?

Ok... So I am a bit late into this group...but the group name screams my name. I am good with exercise and watching what I eat, but feel I am sabotaging all I do with my wine habit. I drink 2 glasses of wine each nth during the week and mire lie 4 glasses on the weekend. Is that so wrong?

I drink wine every night- I am sure people will have their opinions, but I am OK with it. I work it into my plan because I know that is how my life goes. If I cut it out, it would be a diet. I am looking to make changes I can live with for the long haul. It may make my loss slow and steady, and I am fine with that. :smile:

I live in Rochester, NY and trained for a half marathon last winter. The training started January 16th. We ran in very cold temps, snow, sleet, more snow...and I loved every minute of it! I love my Garmin 210-I originally got it for running and now use it for weight lifting, classes, etc. easy to use and great interface on the computer.

I want to join! I just turned 40! I am now trying to lose weight and get fit so that I can look and feel better. Over the last two years, the weight has crept on and I need to get it under control. My initial goal is to lose 30 pounds - and see how that looks/feels.

I will be - if I don't, it may get out of control. I have found that logging really makes me think twice about what I am putting in my mouth... Although I am sure I will not always be perfect.

I am a fan if the Luna protein bars. Started eating them while training for Half marathons because I wouldn't burp them up while running. Now I have half a bar before workouts and the other half after!
