Sort of. I'm going to be free with my meals, but wary of snacks/booze. I'm not going to blow all the hard work, however. Portion control and sensible choices. WIth booze. ;)

I think people would clean up their diaries, not always their actual food intake. It depends on how they work and why they're using the site.

I keep mine closed because I'm still trying to be honest with myself about my relationship with food. I still go badly wrong at times, but I log it. If I had to share it or be open with everyone, then I'd not log my food correctly, I'd be afraid of being judged.

I find having a small portion of nuts can help with the late night munchies. I also have fruit, but as you're a diabetic, I'm not sure if you have to limit your fruit in-take? I also snack on broccoli and peppers and a spicy tomato based dip. A small portion of popcorn or an egg might work if you want something less…

I dance (badly, but energetically) when I clean, I also do pilates basic core whenever I can.

I tend to use nuts as a fat hit with secondary protein. I generally have peanuts, cashews and almonds. I weigh them too because they are very calorific.

If you're going over your sodium everyday then perhaps look into why. Processed food is especially horrible for sodium. If your blood pressure is okay, I wouldn't worry too much about it, but cutting back a bit at a time might be worthwhile in the long run.

I pre-log! I do a menu for a week (or sometimes two) and fill in all my meals, then tweak the minor details during the actual day. I've gone from eating very badly and sporadically to having regular meals so this helps me massively.

I think your doctor should be offering you more advice on how to manage your pre-diabetes. The general advice my dad had was to be careful of foods that had more than 5% sugar per 100g. He also limited fruit to 2 portions a day and upped his vegetable in take to compensate. He wasn't massively overweight, but he got back…
