I also canned mine in a heated (no sugar added) apple juice. I would include in the pints a inch or two of cinnamon stick, and 1 maraschino cherry for color,flavor. It's really good and I don't have waste the fruit! :)

I also grab a snack sized bag of HOT peanuts for nibbling - awesome for treats! I haven't had the nerve to show up with my own popcorn yet, so I always buy the small sized, unbuttered.

I,too, worried about my sugar intake. But, as others have mentioned- if you eat just natural items,(unprocessed fruits, etc.) then,don't worry. I actually dropped that sugar register from my monitor grid. Now, I don't stress if I eat more fruit, thus more sugar! Yay!!! Believe me- I was stressing~

yep- sans clothes in Am. When I weigh at my doc's appt. yearly- I don't stress if the weights don't jib. It is with clothes and is later in the day after eating, etc. Your accurate weight is doing the weighing: same time - same scales - same attire. Regularity is to be achieved for accurate data collection.

Yep...I do more protein, and veggies and my sugars, etc. are all pretty manageable! Not easy every day, but I have faith in myself to accomplish my goals~ Always remember to not be so harsh with yourself~
