  • Definitely trying to reduce. I like your suggestion though -- moderation is probably more important than complete elimination (at least at first). I figure my likelihood of sticking to it would be better if I didn't try to change everything about myself all at once! I'm trying to experiment with new veggies in my diet,…
  • I agree, I'm finding that even smaller things like a sweet tea have so many more calories than I ever would have imagined. Besides that, fast food is overall pretty bad for you on its own. I think it's mostly the convenience that brought me to it. I'm trying to eliminate that. My partner and I are making dinners more…
  • Is it? I'm new to the forums, so I'm not really aware of average posting information. Like I said, I'm looking for friends with similar interests and/or weight experiences, so I wanted to share mine. The main reason I joined this site instead of a different calorie counter site is because of the community aspect.…

Stop procrastinating on papers. 10 PM is not an acceptable time to start! 4. And speaking of working through the night -- Manage my time well enough that I can get at least 7-8…
  • I'm doing History and Anthropology at Flagler College, a private school in St. Augustine, FL. It's a very beautiful campus but I hate the drive -- 50 minutes each way!
  • I've never been good about drinking water. Even on my best days I can only manage 2-3 glasses. I'll try, though!
  • I enjoy things that are easy to do without spending a lot of money. I don't have a gym membership, home equipment, exercise mats or counters... But I have my body! I like to bicycle, walk on the beach, etc.
  • Starting weight is 181 lbs. My goal weight is 150 lbs. I just joined MyFitnessPal today. I haven't really had a lot of success with calorie counters. I think it's because I lose the motivation to post. I am hoping that the community aspect to this site will provide a sense of responsibility and reliability. I need some…
