  • I tried to give up coffee for a month (keurig addict) I would drink the green tea k cups with honey instead, that didn't last, I still drink my coffee every day, one cup with a tbsp of coldstone icecream creamer, yum! Still losing weight, still enjoying my coffee!

  • I am still losing weight, I don't drink nearly as much as I use to (from beer every weekend to maybe twice a month) It does bloat me and I retain water as a result. I stick to lite beer or a glass of wine. Starting weight: 178 July 28th, 2012 CW: 130 GW: 120
  • It depends on how you run, I am flat footed, run on my toes, I have tried Brooks but they were too bulky for me and I decided with a minimalist shoe. I wear reebok realflex, super comfy and great for running 5K's which is my base run. Definitely go to a running store and get fitted first. You don't necessarily have to buy…
  • I would say that's really good for 2 weeks, I wouldn't worry about what is normal. What is normal for my body may be different for yours. I have been at this for 6 months and my body has surprised me in sooooo many ways. Keep up the good work and you will find out what is right for you :)
  • My knees did bother me at first with running and I had an IT band injury from changing up my shoes, I stretched more, joint juice helped me a lot, and just ran through the little aches and pains, my body adjusted, thank you everyone for so much  I have tried every magic pill, diet out there, I just had to find what…
  • I tried the whole gym membership thing, I could never hold myself accountable, always an excuse not to go to the gym. Since working out from home I have been successful. No excuse not to pop in a 30 minute dvd or go for a run in my neighborhood. From home: 30 DS, 6 week 6 pack, couch to 5K, increased hand weights from 2lbs…
  • I run anywhere between a 10-11 min mile, I have been at this for 6 months, I pace myself, slowly but surely I am getting better at time but I think you are doing great!

  • I am about to start 30 day shred all over again, after I completed it the first time I lost 15 lbs. I have increased my weights this time to 5lbs and I am doing her 6 week 6 pack! I love it but you have to work through the soreness!
  • I did 30 day shred...twice. Annoyed by Jillian but learned the moves, muted her, and play my own music while watching the video on mute. I am over 30 day shred so I started 6 week 6 pack, not bad on knees at all, great to get the heart pumping, and overall great workout. I have bad knees too, believe me you will be happy…

  • I started out a heavy runner too, wore Reeboks Realflex through my C25K training and now run 3-4 miles a day, lost 28lbs so far! Definitely go to a running store let them fit you, you don't have to buy shoes there, go find a place with the same or similar shoes on sale. I love reebok or brooks. Get a good playlist going, a…

  • I was at work one day (nurse at a hospital) A co-worker and I were having a discussion about plastic surgery, I mentioned if I could ever afford plastic surgery I would get a tummy tuck, though I was just a little over weight my abdominal skin was stretched out bad from my 2 pregnancies and riddled with stretch marks. My…
  • I started c25K in July, finished in September, ran my first 5K and run approx 3-4 miles a day now. There are days I LOVE running, and days where I just can't do it, don't want to do it and can't tolerate running more than 5 min. I just listen to my body. The hardest part is getting out the front door, my addiction is the…
  • I would like to join! CW: 157 GW: 137
  • I didn't tell my fiance until I started losing the weight. We have been together for 5 years. Now he knows and also knows how much I have lost and is my biggest support.
  • I run every morning before work, I started with the C25K program and completed it, just need to discipline yourself. I don't eat before I run, just drink some water, when I get back I drink a protein shake or smoothie, but you have to find what works best for you :) Good Luck!!!

  • Luckily my 40+ hours a week job allows me to work from home 90% of the time so I am able to get my work out in instead of all that driving time to the office, plus I have 2 kiddos, a12 year old and an 8 year old, one in football and band the other in dance so I stay on the move!
  • Just completed it and I have a new found love for running, I could barely run for a minute straight, but now I run almost everyday for at least 30 minutes. I had my good days and bad days, some days I would repeat but I love it and will be running my first 5k on October 20th!
