Hello. Seems that we are not too far apart from our starting weights. I am hoping this will be the thing to keep me going for a while. I find that if I have a "competition" that I tend to stick to losing weight. It keeps me accountable I guess. We have no special plans for this weekend, but I am sure that food might be an…

My reply was supposed to be in response to this post. Sorry all. I'm still getting used to the forums.

ooh, I like what you said - not thinking never again but thinking instead not today. :)

I can't believe there is no such thing as "never again" unless it is life threatening. Maybe for some it is never again ever and for some it is never again until I reach a goal or THE goal. Am I doing this for myself or others? Good question. I always tell myself each time I start to try to get healthier that I am doing it for myself, but it really used to be mainly so others wouldn't judge me by the way I look. This time around though, it is 90% for myself and my health and only 10% because of other peeps.…

Hey all! I am so excited to find this group. It may be just what I need to keep on track. I just found out that a family wedding, which I thought was going to be next year, will be 3 days before Christmas THIS year!! No, I'm not in the wedding, but just want to feel better about myself. I am a full-time work from home mom…
