Everyone is different, but I find I want to binge when I've been overly restrictive in my calorie intake. When I got near my goal weight I upped the calories by 200 and was still at a deficit (with exercise) and lost a bit slower but wasn't inclined to binge. I also try not to cut my favourite foods out altogether. So I…

Walking is fantastic, but I find I have to walk for a LONG time to burn a decent number of calories (eg 2 hours). Great for toning up the legs and butt, too!

Saucy minx! Way to go, what a transformation :) Happy New Year!

I order thin crust vegetarian and just have 2 slices. It's all good! The other thing I do is make myself ride my bike to pick up the pizza...

I was at my lowest point, 2 children with disabilities, living in a house that should have been condemned, husband deployed overseas, overweight, back injury, depression. A friend visited our city from overseas and insisted we catch up. It was very difficult to organise, but I did, and made the effort to have lunch with…

I don't drink...well, I'll have half a beer once or twice a year maybe. I used to get a hard time about it as a teenager / early 20s, now no-one seems to really care. "Do you want some wine?". "No thanks - enjoy yours though!" End of story :)

Stunning and so inspirational!

You are stunning! Pretty face and figure to die for. So jealous of your gorgeous butt too. So nice to hear of someone making changes in a steady, sensible way and getting such amazing results. Congratulations!! (Oh and I hear you on the am exercise, it's often the only time I can fit it in and just think "Oh well, has to…

Completely agree!! Sometimes I'll come across a cute vid with a kid doing something lovely and then along come the hate posts....just small people who make themselves feel better by being nasty behind the veil of internet anonymity. And I'm from Australia - our humour is completely inappropriate and "raw" lol. My internet…

I'm 5'2" with a small frame and I'm currently 119lbs. I'd like to get back to 115lb with lower body fat %. I have been as low as 105 but looked awful.

Knowing how hard it was to lose the weight in the first place just ask yourself, do you want to lose 70 again or would you rather lose 5? That's usually motivation for me! Find some exercise you enjoy and concentrate on your strength and fitness. Sometimes that can help you feel more positive and adjust your attitude.

Logging food will help you get a grip on how much you're actually eating, and how many calories your favourite foods have. It can be quite a shock! The other great thing about logging is that it really motivates you to exercise because you can "buy" more food. Honestly, keep to your calorie limit and exercise (cardio and…

Awww you're so cute! Can definitely see a difference

Nah, you're certainly not out of control! You seem to have a grip on your calorie intake :) Like miasapearl I thought maybe you could up your intake of veggies, just to get a few more nutrients. You can have big piles of them for very few calories. The whole thing with changing your diet and lifestyle is that it has to be…

All of this! Most fantastic tattoo advice ever.

kborton - yes, nice rack!

I went from a C to a perky A cup, but I look and feel much better now. Literally a weight off my chest  Makes running easier as well. I have chicken fillets (gel inserts) for special occasions, works for me!

I don't log every day now, but if I'm eating a few heavy things and I want to balance my day I use it for that. Mostly, for me, it has been an education tool and I have a pretty good grip on my calories in and out now.

 I've seen too many older people regret tatts, and I get keloid scarring very easily so no ink for me. But if it's your thing I think it's a lovely idea...butterfly sounds gorgeous. Reckon I'd want Snoopy :)

I haven't bought new clothes in years, so when I lost the weight I bought a whole new wardrobe, and shoes. Felt great!!

You can eat back the calories you burn, but if you don't eat back all of them you will possibly lose weight a bit quicker. MFP told me to stick to 1200 calories and I felt dizzy and sick. I ended up hardly moving so I didn't lose much weight. I upped it to 1400 and felt great with heaps of energy and lost more kgs. I'm…

Why did this post die? Gold!!

I lost weight easily after my first, lots of walking with the pram and resistance exercises at home. Took a bit longer after my second but I wasn't in the right head space. Totally achievable, even if you can't leave the house...my story is here :)…

So jealous of you gorgeous tall ladies!

It took me 6 months of hard work to lose 20lbs - watching my calories and exercising for an hour most days. It's easier to lose 20lbs if you are very overweight but at 140 you might find it takes longer.
-
Great story, you are amazing!

Yep, pasta and bread and mayonnaise!

I like your style!!

Wow, just checked out mybodygallery.com and it's a real eye opener! People at my height and weight looking completely different, from thin to athletic, chunky, soft, toned...you name it! Also, I hear you on the where to stop. I was happy with my weight then lost a few more pounds and liked it better. Then I lost a few more…
