Ok guys thanks
-
That would be very hard to do lol. There are generic ones on my fitness pal diary but really don't want to go over.

Tricksee starting the routine today. Do I add weight per set or once a week??
-
Ok guys thank you very much for the advice. Greatly appreciated.

After some more research on this program. I have read that 5x5 is more for strength gains mot muscular? I want to get stronger ofc but for me I'd rather have the jacked look for now. I've always been relatively strong but never had the appearance. It's time for me now to look good also. Are there any programs recommended…

Isn't it best to get the compound lifts in twice a week minimum? Would love to stick to program but don't 100% understand the sessions it's saying to do. As in what together etc. May not be reading the best one

Ok so example monday- squats/bench/pull ups Wed-deadlifts/ohp/triceps Fri- squats/bench/ extra?? Or is that completely wrong??
-
Hey, just checked the site out you gave me looks good. But is it possible to do it on a 3 day split. So mon-wed-fri? If so how would I go about it for optimum gains??
-
Ah okay. Thanks for the heads up. Will monitor it. Don't want a over stress the muscles. Cheers pal
-
Resting weekends should be enough?? Or do you think I need a rest in between?
-
Ok squat rack ordered. Going to 5x5 as planned with extra arm work. And do insanity on Tues and Thurs for hiit. Thanks all for the help much appreciated. Now with the weight I lift. Should I start with starting strength or go for a more intermediate one?? I currently lift 3 days a week heavy
-
Ah I see. I never really thought of doing that. Another question, how important are squats for this routine? Mainly because I don't have a stand yet and need to buy if it's going to majorly benefit me. I do play football and run a few nights a week also. Thanks again
-
Thanks a lot guys. Hybrid could be a good choice. I don't have a squat rack/stands at the moment. Debating on wether getting that or a hrm for Christmas hmm.
-
Ok guys. I'll give it another month or 2 and be stricter on my nutrition. If no results then ill start insanity. Thanks for your time guys. While we are at it does anyone have the program for starting strength or an intermediate one? I bench 90 kg 3x5. Deadlift 100kg 3x5. Just to give an idea of where my strength is at.
-
Hey guys, appreciate the replies. I have done insanity before, well the first week anyway. But as said I couldn't keep up my weight lifting program as was too tired. I'm not a lot stronger but still as 25% bf as a 5ft 7 male. Would like this down by at least 5% within a couple months. So if insanity will make this possible…

Anyone got any experience to share with this??
-
I think I'll do a lighter lifting session today and then take weekend off to recuperate. That's the plan anyways. I kinda feel guilty when I haven't worked out. Good thing I guess...

Been there and now exactly how you feel. I lost my job and was out of work for almost a year which happened just when my wife was 8 months pregnant. We struggled for what seemed like forever. But now I'm working and back on my feet. There will always be something to worry or be down about but I am sure you will come out…

Problem is that's a quick term result the scale. Can see good things happening within a few days. Where as fat loss. Really hard to tell unless large percentage etc. Have order some calipers though as I do base decisions off the scale. So want rid of em for a while. Lowest weight ill go eat this etc etc. Just want to carry…

I'm going for about 25 lbs, feel free to add me!
-
I'll meet halfway and go to 2400. Not comfortable with 2600 as that's a very slow weight loss. I think increasing by 700 will be a weight gain surely? Difficult to decide what to go with as don't want to waste 6 weeks to find I got nowhere or worse gained
-
I was at 2200 cals I think. Can't remember though. Was over a long period of changing cals etc wasn't done in a month or 2. Took like 4-6
-
Bump
-
Ok guys. Enough info to leave it at that. Thanks for replies
-
But you would say 2600 is a good amount for a cut? I assumed I should be eating a lot less to burn the fat and lose the weight. Don't feel like I been getting anywhere. And used a body fat scale which said I haven't lost any bf% in 3 months which is weird as I've lost over a stone!?
-
No weight loss but only a week and also been pretty hungry but figured that was cause I Was eating 2200 a few weeks back? Tbh I work nights so never have energy lol. But haven't noticed significant changes
-
The thing is i've been eating 1900 :s. I'm assuming that's far too low then?
-
Don't be too disheartened at this stage. Many people's skin will shrink back down at least 50% and I know this is true as I've seen it happen but it takes time. Use some vitamin e cream on vulnerable places and give it a good 3-6 months before worrying to much. Also lift to fill out more could be a good option if your not.…

Sorry for late reply. The this happens to me quite regularly. It could be associated with diet but not so sure as I still eat a good amount of fat. Could be fat cells breaking down which I hope it is lol. But really appreciate the replies here guys. Don't seem to have rashes etc I do have a tad try skin there due to…

Nope not at all, no changes in health apart from lost over a stone and fitter
