"I'm starting to think she has an eating disorder because the way she acts and talks about food is almost obsessive, and idk she has changed a lot from when she was overweight. " Sounds a little concerning but I've known people who have to go too far with an endeavor before they can pull it back and live in balance - sorry…

LOL yes! you'll show her it's possible - one of my "petty" motivations is to be skinny (healthy) to show up my boyfriend so he'll start getting in shape. I figure however I can manipulate myself to want to get up off the couch, stop eating junk, and get my butt in gear is good.

I'd really like to join - I'm very curious to see what that kind of change will look like on me after that long, however I will be cheating at least one day a month. I have to have milk or I start PMSing bad - other than that tho I'd really like to join you

I'm 5'6 and I was really happy at 150 once but I'd ultimately like to be 135

wasting time when I'm bored and then still feeling like I was productive because I logged in :D

AGREED - but as an emotional eater I'm very prone to over eating when the hormones hit hard, I have to be very conscious of why I'm eating when I know I'm prone to binge once a month. It has actually helped me to give myself a day to have some mac and cheese, a few glasses of milk and a little too much chocolate, then at…

I'd make him paint himself white so I could tell people I was dating the michelin tire man

I think it also largely depends on the individual -how their weight is distributed and their frame size. My boyfriend is supposed to weigh 165 for his height but looks skeletal at that weight and only got that low because his thyroid was trying to eat him alive. He didn't look normal or healthy again until about 190 which…

I had this exact injury in my right leg (rollerblading) several years ago and it completely took me out for a year - I had the rods removed when they were no longer helping but I still have pain and swelling in my ankle and sometimes a bad limp when the muscles seize unexpectedly. I do have to say tho that one of my goals…

This is a good place to begin! Good people here and lots of motivation. Struggling to live healthier everyday gets a little bit easier with the accountability and encouragement this site provides - at least in my opinion. Good Luck!

Just adding my two cents - I've been trying to stay between 1200-1300 and getting very frustrated and even gaining two lbs. I just raised my calories to 1700 in the past three days and lost 4 lbs. In the past calorie cycling has really helped me and I tend to eat intuitively when I'm at my healthiest. I do agree that…

Hi there! I'm also a Junior although this is my second degree (already got an associates) and I know exactly what you mean about the course work and junk food. I gained almost 40 lbs since the end of my freshman year here but we gotta take the time for "health" in addition to "study" this year, am I right? So lets do this!

I know plenty of skinny stoners, but absolutely no healthy ones!

a small egg cracked into an avocado half and baked for 10-12 minutes served with a grilled tomato half hollowed out and filled with sauteed kale or spinach - add half a tortilla cut into wedges and lightly toasted in a frying pan and this is my favorite breakfast! under 400 calories and I stay full all morning

this one has always been a bit confusing to me too... very interested in whatever responses you get and congratulations on all the weight loss!

My boyfriend isnt quite that bad - but I feel your pain, he laughs at me for eating healthy and going to bed earlier, he also wants me to make him bacon and eggs, cheeseburgers, burritos, etc. when I'm cooking healthy food for me. We both really need to lose weight and he just isnt on the band wagon yet - in a strange way…
