I like dirty rap to work out to. Liiiike Shots by LMFAO and Culo (Pitbull?) and Hotel Room Service (Daddy yankee?). Gets me going for some reason. And they say the most ridiculous things so it keeps me entertained

mmmm this is the best!! lowfat plain yogurt in place of sour cream too!

In addition to buying fresh fruit I like buying frozen fruit like berries and peaches because then I always have them around and don't have to worry about not having fruit when I can't make it to the grocery store every week to get fresh stuff. They're super good in oatmeal and yogurt or just plain as a sweet frozen treat.…

You can do it!! You have the tools and you've done it before. Sounds like it may be different with the new medication, maybe keep that in mind and try not to get frustrated if your body doesn't react the way it did the first time you were using MFP. Have confidence in yourself and what you want.

AH SO CUTE!! That is great motivation. I can't wait to buy a pair of smaller jeans, maybe a really nice pair from the Buckle

I was a rower for 5 years in a climate where the lakes are frozen half the time so I spent plenty (read: too much) of time on the erg (short for ergometer, or row machine). I never, ever wore gloves, nor did anyone I know. If you're using proper technique your hands shouldn't be rubbing or irritated while you're erging.…

agreed with the thin strips or cubes and then fried with a little bit of olive oil in a skillet. Nice and crispy on the outside and super satisfying. I like putting salt, pepper, cayenne, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, italian seasoning etc. in the pan with mine too. Depends on what I'll be putting the tofu in

YES! I Absolutely love it. I burn 500-600 calories every time I do the video and its so much more efficient and effective than say, ellipticalling, for the same amount of time. And its way more interesting and doesn't bore you out of your mind. Plus you get a great ab, butt, thighs, arms work out in! My roomate and I…

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I am sometimes afraid that I will spiral into unhealthy habits by counting calories, but then I remember that my body is the GREATEST gift given to me. It is the one thing I truly own, It can do anything! But you have to nourish and take care of it. Think of your food as fuel.…

I eat back every single one of my workout calories and still loose weight. I love to eat! I take that 300-400 cal deficit I have at the end of a day I worked out and make a delicious snack. It may be the best part of my day. haha

I try to be vegetarian at home. I never have meat in my refrigerator. The only time I find it hard is when I'm out with friends and they want to get, say, a pizza with meat on it or I'm eating at someone else's house and they've prepared a meat dish. I'm not about to turn down free food! haha. I enjoy being vegetarian a…

OH YES!! I keep a bottle at work. soooo good!

I've found that the Moosewood cook book and the Enchanted Broccoli Forest, both by Molly Katzen, have really helped me to eat cleaner. There are so many great (vegetarian!) recipes for things that you normally buy processed at the store that you can make at home with fresh fruits, veggies, grains, and dairy (some are…

I got used to drinking coffee black when I worked at a summer camp and the entire purpose of coffee was for caffeine. No time for sugar or milk. Just throw it back while you're trying to eat breakfast at a table full of ten 11 year old girls. What a great job. haha. I really learned to like it though and really dislike…

I thought it was zero cals! haha. I drink them occasionally if I need some caffiene of I'm craving one but even though they're zero cals I find they kinda throw my bloood sugar off or give me a head ache so then I want to eat protein. You can never win...lol

Its all about your net calories or total calories in minus total calories out (exercise). If you're on your homepage there's an equation at the top that adds and subtracts the numbers so you can see. The calories that MFP keeps track of is your net calories. And thats true that you do want a calorie deficit, but thats…

Yes! just this morning I am realizing I'm having this problem. Aaaah! I think I might try and get to the gym with friends so that way there is even more of an incentive and an energy boost. I also like cooking something healthy to be a nice little break from studying and then when you are done eating your (yummy) meal…

I like to cancel out alcohol calories with dancing!!! haha. But I usually go for the gin and tonic with lime. YUMMY!

I think hummus is a great substitute too! It adds the creaminess and you can get it in so many good flavors like garlic, basil, horseraddish! It has about 60 cals for 2 tablespoons. And then some avocado too! except that can get high in calories (and money!) so I like to mash just a little piece up and spread it on the…

I think that you should go for the body that YOU feel comfortable in and what you're happy with, and then your guy should love you for who you are and think you're gorgeous no matter what. Who cares if he likes curvy girls or skinny skinny girls, its sill a projection of what guys think girl's bodies should be, when really…

This is the thread I've been looking for! I've always been fit and active. Rowing, running, doing triathlons. But i've never had the exact body I want even though I exercise a lot. Finally realized that it could be that I've always ate whatever the heck I wanted (which has been great! lol), but that is just not working for…
