Welcome! MFP has been a great tool for me. Best recommendation I can make -- based on my experience -- is track, track, track. It has kept me honest, and really put me in touch with the kinds (and quantities) of food that fit my weight loss goals. Good luck!

I've gone through the same thing! I got to my goal weight before I turned thirty; now I'm 33, and I've gained it all back! Take advantage for your age...it melted off when I was younger, but I'm really fighting for it now. MFP has been a great tool for me. Good luck!

I understand what you mean by addiction. For me, sugar is my drug, and the only way I can lose weight is to eliminate it. I know I can't have "just one" soda or cookie. And unless I eliminate that stuff I crave it all the time, and it's the undoing of my healhty eating habits. My best advice is take it one day at a time,…

I'm finishing up grad school, in addition to a full-time day job, so I understand your situation! I take the stairs whenever possible at work -- it's not much, but I sit at a desk all day, so it's one of tthe few hings I can do.

Getting rid of the junk food makes such a differece, doesn't it? That is the biggest struggle for me, but I know I have to do it to make this happen. And thanks for the idea about stair-climbing at a stadium. I live in a college town, so that's a really great workout idea!

Thanks for the advice! I've had yogurt and coffee the last two days for breakfast instead of a 32oz Coca-Cola. I'm sure my body is happy about that...the tough part is convincing my brain to feel the same :-)
