I'd stick with 1200 or a little bit over. because of your height and weight, you're already at such a deficit that it's better to stay on the high side.

Buy rolled oats instead. Less milk/water, slightly less cooking time. I use 1/4 cup rolled oats to a little less than 1/2 cup almond milk.

It's because you ate it plain. I can eat it plain now because I don't eat a lot of sweets, so I find it sweeter to me now, but in the beginning I always had to sweeten it myself. It's got a distinct taste, that's for sure.

Get rid of them. If you put on weight you're forced to lose it to stay in the same size, or you have to spend more money to buy new ones. What sounds like a better option, spending money and staying the same weight, or losing weight and spending no money?
