One of the big eye openers to me was how big my portion sizes used to be! Now I find that I can manage the smaller one and still feel full - but it did take a bit of getting used to! And I have lost my weight on 1600 calories a day (although I probably have a lot more than you to lose!) - my husband is on 1200 and he…

Just have some! Even my husband has finally realised that if he has some breakfast, he won't be so hungry at lunchtime and can eat more sensibly through the day! After +30 years of not having any, he finally has more than just coffee - and he has lost 1.5 stone since August :)

Hello, me too!
-
I followed advice and set my activity level at sedentary and now log any exercise over the usual daily strolling about at work. This works for me very well as some days I do no extra and other days I take an exercise class. I can see the effect this has on my daily needs for calories and I am losing weight so it works for…

I log everything - if I know I have eaten it, I am only fooling myself by not logging it.... and I know I have so whats the point in that!
