I try to stick with vodka and soda - less calories and sugar than wine (which I admittedly prefer)!

Wow - I love this! Stress eating is my biggest downfall and I am absolutely going to practice asking "Why would I want to punish myself with food." Thank you for sharing!

I'm 5' 1", and at my highest weight was 141. I lost 26 pounds and was maintaining at 115 when work got really busy and I started eating too much of all the wrong things. Now I'm back to MFP and trying to lose 10 pounds. I love this board - I think those of us who are "vertically challenged" have to work extra hard for…

Wow - so many wise ladies here! Kevrit - I love your SMART goals - I'm going to use that at work. I just have a bit of time so will just give a shout out to the last few posts: Rita: I'm originally from CT so hello from a fellow "Nutmegger"! Laura: Congrats on you NSV! My goals for…

I really urge you to try to lose 20 at a very reasonable 2 or so pounds a week. If you lose 20, you should look better in time for the wedding, even if…

I would add a protein share or two to help build lean muscle. Atkins makes a good one that's about 170 calories or so that's low sugar. Good luck with it!

HI Carla: Welcome back. We all have those times when it's hard to stay on track. But as the saying goes "It doesn't matter how many times you fall - just how many times you get up!" I'm going to keep repeating that today because we had a family wedding this weekend, and I indulged waaaaay too much. Good lucki! Karen
