Turning 60 this year. From one old fart to another, welcome!!! Over 100 lbs to lose. Did it before and I will do it again. Any and all help appreciated.

Friend me. Happy to help. Plan your meals ahead of time (day prior) then eat your plan and never deviate from it, regardless of the circumstances. You gotta get religious about it.

Once a week, Monday morning. I find that the pending weigh-in helps me through the weekend. When I first started many years ago, I used to weigh in every day. Result: stupid. Some days I had weight fluctuations of 3-4 LBS. Down days were great, but then I would think, well, I am doing soooo good, I can cheat a little. Up…

Very healthy. 3 oz Thin N Trim Low Salt Turkey Breast, 100 cal wrap, 1 Tbsp miracle whip, Romaine Lettuce, Sweet Onion, 16 red seedless grapes and two clementines. 32 oz water. 516 calories I don't overthink the food groups; I just try to make a balanced meal.

I am a guy, but I am in a similar situation. I lost 103 lbs two years ago and gained back 60 of them. I am working my program again but could use some support and motivation, too. Let's help each other in this.

Lori is right. Take no sheeet. I am a guy, but I am not the testosterone fueled power lifter type. I am overweight, and not someone who would typically lift. I ALWAYS get static from these types, and I am a guy. Go over the the Roid Master and ask him for the equipment you want/need. If he says no, take it anyway. And if…

I never eat mine back. It seems you are defeating the purpose of dieting. The goal is to create as big a deficit from your BMR to your caloric intake. So if my BMR is 3800 calories and my actual intake is 2000. I have a deficit of 1800. If I also have exercise of 400 calories burned, my deficit is now 2200 calories. If I…

More than likely, you're doing nothing wrong. You may be transferring body fat for muscle mass. Muscle weighs more than fat. Is 9'8 a realistic goal? Are you in good shape now? Not obese (I don't think so). So what is the real reason for this loss? Happy to listen if you want to discuss.

Hi everyone. I am 56 and living North of Boston. I have already lost 100 pounds through diet and exercise, but looking to lose 100+ more. Tha nk you in advance for any encouragement or inspiration you can provide Boston Bill

My food calories are fixed at 2000 per day. If I exercise a lot, all the better, but I never take the exercise calories into consideration, I've never had a "zero" day, but I am working on it.

There are lots of things you can do besides being home alone. Go out, take a walk, visit a museum, take a bike ride, volunteer at a hospital or nursing home or whatever. Your issue is; you're eating out of boredom. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt and the hat and 200+ extra pounds besides. Plan your meals, stick to…

Sarah, welcome back! I am 56 years old and 100 lbs + overweight. But this time two years ago I was 200 lbs + overweight and in a deep depression. You can do this. One day at a time. Set your calorie limit, eat close to your limit, plan your meals ahead of time and stick to the plan. It works. Happy to lend my encourgaement…
