i have UC, and I have learned the best way for me to lose weight is to move more. Diet is not the way to go, because any food can set me off for no reason whatsoever. Yes, I have foods I know to avoid that I learned from keeping a food diary and watching what happened. I have a dietician at my weight loss class who has…

I've had a mild case since I was a teenager. Doesn't really cause my any aggravation. Some see the discolouration and think the tips of my fingers are frozen.

I recently got a Zip in exchange for review. I'm happy with it, and it sits on the waist band of my trousers. It has a silicone case to protect it from sweat. Sometimes it is 2,000 steps out from my Fitbug, but that doesn't matter me, so long as both show 12,500+ steps a day, I'm happy. I use it to motivate me, as the…

For instance, I can drink coffee (cold) and it helps especially during flares, but for others this is a big no-no. I can eat some fruits sans skin, others cannot. Beans, broccoli, cabbage and…

The sun was definitely out in Kent today, after a wet, wild and windy night.

Hello from wet and soggy north-west Kent. I'm near the M25. Brisbane, QLD? That's weird. I emigrated from Brisbane to the UK 16 years ago.

My favourite cereal of all time has to be the Australian Nutri-Grain. I love the malty flavour and I can eat it dry, without milk. Can't get it in the UK though. :-(
