They are awesome sliced up and put a little salt or peper and eat plain. Or slice and eat on sandwiches. Down here(TX) they put Avocados on everything to incl eggs, toast, in soups (really good), or any dish that needs a healthy sweeter taste. Hope that helps!

3 sounds like the typical age they want to avoid taking naps. My little 3 yr old is the same. My 6 (just turned) still takes the occasional naps.
