  • I'm in too and definitely need some buddies. Goal is to lose 50 lbs and get below 200 for the first time in many years. And go from there.   • Quinoa. I tasted a yummy tabouleh style salad at a store once but that was it. I've cooked it a couple of ways with various flavors, rinsed/not rinsed, etc. The taste is OK, but it's the texture and the way it curls into little worms, LOL. I love beans and other whole grains, so I'll stick with those and try it again…
  • I use my good old Osterizer blender for smoothies. The basic one: soy or almond milk (Vanilla works great), banana, frozen fruit. Blend. It really takes 30 seconds.
