  • Having the same experience! I've found that it's best for me to allow myself "bad" food sometimes, but just have really small portions of it.   • Please feel free to friend me if you'd like! I've also struggled with motivation - I lost weight for my wedding and promptly gained every single pound back within six months. We can cheer each other on!
  • Cardio, cardio, cardio! Definitely find some cardio routines you feel like you might be able to stick with. Popsugar and SkinnyMs.com both have some good routines for ellipticals, treadmills, and exercise bikes. A combination of cardio and strength exercises will help you gain muscle mass and lose fat, too!
  • I, too, need motivation! I don't like to talk about weight loss goals with friends in real life because I feel like it makes me less accountable for myself. Having some friends on this site would be really awesome. Please add me!
  • Aching is good! It means you worked hard. Sharp pain is not good, and if you feel any sharp pains while exercising you should try a different workout or cut down the intensity slightly. Deep stretching after a workout can help ease some of the next-day muscle soreness, and with summer coming up a little ice is always nice…
  • When I think I've consumed an adequate amount of food/calories and still feel hungry, I always drink a glass of water. Sometimes, thirst disguises itself as hunger. If I'm still hungry 10-20 minutes after my water, I have a snack!
