I had this same question when I started the New Rules of Lifting for Women workout because I felt like I was busting my butt and was NEVER sore. But I stuck with it and at the end of 6 weeks I was benching more, squatting more, lunging with heavier weights, etc. So after that, I would say that being sore doesn't really…

LMAO!!! That's great. I actually got the idea from an old boss of mine. He sat on an exercise ball for the same reason and I thought it was a good idea.

Honestly, it is pretty amazing. My brother in law used to make it for me and sprinkle parmesan cheese on it and dip it in marinara sauce. So delicious.

I had knee surgery a few years ago and after rehab I took it easy. Once I got serious about losing weight I started strength training my legs. A lot. Now I have no knee troubles at all. Based on my experience, I would avoid the high impact exercise and focus on some strength training. Once the legs get stronger, then you…

I sit on an exercise ball. My co-workers think I'm a riot but I'm keeping my core strong.

I eat what I want but what I want to eat has changed drastically in the last few years. Gone are the days of craving cheeseburgers and deep fried cauliflower. Now what I want are chicken sandwiches or a salad. I have evolved a little tiny bit.

Oh, I see you're in Iowa. Just look up the tenants rights for your state. Your rights as a renter are all online.
-
I don't know what state you live in but in most states, you do not have to register a property as a rental unless it is a multi-family dwelling. Then it must be zoned as a multi-family dwelling. If the property is a multi-family dwelling and you have a lease that does not list your sister as a tenant then he can kick her…

Well yeah, I eat my calories. I have my goals set to lose 1 lb a week. So I'm not sure what's goin on.

I lost weight for a guy too!!! He was so helpless and sweet and GORGEOUS! I loved him from the first time I saw him. He's also my son and when I was pregnant with him I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I was told that if I didn't do something soon I was going to harm my baby and myself. I was also told that I would…

Well where did you lose it at? Think back, retrace your steps - it will be in the last place you look. I typically find that I leave mine in the closet or in my underwear drawer.

Have some fruit instead.

I have a protein shake for lunch, berries, 2 scoops, almond milk and blend. 50g of protein. I have a multigrain ciabatta roll with 2 scrambled eggs, ham, reduced fat swiss and that's like 50g of protein (and 500 calories). I also have a protein bar and my hunk of meat with dinner.

Amen!!! One of the worst exercises you can do IMO.

This is exactly what I was worried about. When I had my first 2 kids, the whole DHA thing wasn't even brought up - you gave your babies formula with iron and THAT was the big thing. For some reason, that seems to have changed and the latest fad is DHA. But if DHA is naturally found in breastmilk, do they put synthetic DHA…

Oh heck yeah!!!
-
This is what I did for my other 3 kids and they're all fine but there are a lot of hormones in milk that I'd like to avoid but I don't know about a special formula. The whole 'add a bunch of DHA' thing kind of scares me I guess because I don't know a lot about it. Maybe the solution is to just get organic milk.

Lift. A LOT.

Coffe has a lot of antioxidants in it that are really good for your body but that's drinking it black and only like 1-2 cups a day.

Borax mixed with sugar.
-
That's great! Good for you!
-
This was what happened to me too.
-
I really like the Pure Protein bars. 20g of protein, not too much sugar and they taste good.
-
This exactly!

Open your diary.

You can make healthy versions of chicken parmesan and pineapple chicken. Also, some chicken white bean chili for the winter time. YUM!!! And I'm making chicken adobo in about 20 minutes!

I miss Jillian!

I was in the gym the other day and this guy was there helping some girl lift the weights off of the rack that she wanted to work on. I've kind of gotten to know this guy so I jokingly said, "now how's come you never help me lift the weights off of the rack." He laughed but his response really hit home. He said to me, "have…

I had 3 kids, was 90 lbs overweight and there were no abs anywhere. I lost all the weight by eating right and working out. I hired a personal trainer and never did a single isolated ab exercise. What I DID do was to focus on form. A lot of weight lifting exercises use the core muscles and before I knew it, I had abs and…
