I just do my own thing too.....which I'm desperately trying to figure something out at the moment. Starting to zig-zag my calories. I've been plateaued for 4 months and it's really starting to get to me :ohwell: Anyone have any suggestions or have done zig-zagging before? If so, could you give me a breakdown of your…

I agree! I like to think that I would follow it if there was a vegetarian option, but I know I wouldn't. Welcome iceey!

Holy crap! You lost 4.5 inches in one week!? You're my hero!!! :drinker:
-
You might want to try and resizing the pictures - all I can see are the before. Regardless - great job! I've tried and dropped out of the 30DS more than once. Kudos to you for sticking with it!!! :drinker:

I actually just started zig-zagging this past Monday....hoping that will give my body a boost. I'm currently doing Turbo Fire & C25k so I get a lot of different workouts in. I used a website as a guideline, but I don't think that the calories they give me is varied enough so I think I'm going to figure something out on my…

Results won't be posted until tomorrow at the earliest. Someone was weighing in late tomorrow......and Kim is having a lush-fest weekend

You have no idea how much I needed that. I'm actually crying right now.....my husband tells me this all the time, but it's nice to hear it from someone outside. I've been hating on myself over this damn plateau and I need to stop. I don't get it, I don't know what else to do to my body to get the scale moving, but I need…

Just got done with HIIT 25. Even though it's the longest HIIT workout, I think it's my favorite. I can tell already that my jumps are getting just a little bit higher
-
And I quit during the 2nd competition. Sometimes you just need a break from the scale, logging, working out, etc.

First thing that comes to my mind is mashed avocado. Or maybe just a little bit of light/olive oil mayo? That is quite an odd craving.....is there something you need to tell us there Heather?

I kicked off Week 3 today with Fire 45 EZ - it kicked my *kitten*! I don't know if it's because there aren't any breaks, but it was the first time doing a TF workout that I had to stop a couple of times. I really enjoyed it though, it could possibly be my favorite so far. I like that I'm finally "getting it" and picking up…

I'm in. I've been in the 170's for FOUR MONTHS!!! I'm bound to break out of them soon. Right? :ohwell:
-
LOVE it!

Inches are 163.75  I really wish I could punch the 170's right square in the nuts!

That's so disturbing. The woman I'm thinking of I know has kids and set up a website that people pay to subscribe to so they can watch her eat and that's how she supports herself. Her goal was to be the heaviest woman in the world and make it into the Guiness Book of World Records. But, maybe it's not her because I just…

I feel the same way. I wish I could bring a trainer in for one day to teach me proper form on different workouts!
-
Is that the woman who has the website set up so people pay to watch her eat?

Got my days mixed up - was supposed to do Fire 45 today but did Core 20. Oh well, it worked out well because I had C25k also so I only worked out for 55 minutes instead of 80 minutes. Skipped Stretch 40 - I just couldn't do it......I'm pretty sure I would have fallen asleep! I think I'll do Fire 55 EZ tomorrow and then…
-
Anyone out there????? I start Week 4 tomorrow. How are YOU doing with C25k? Anyone? Anyone?? Bueller?
-
I haven't done Fire 45 EZ yet.....I have it for the first time in a couple of days. But, it is EZ (easy) so, I would assume that the regular Fire 45 would be harder. Fire drills always kick my *kitten*! I did Fire 55 EZ class today - burned about 70 more calories than I did the first time I did it. I like that…

I did HIIT 15 & Sculpt 30 today. Man, Sculpt 30 kicked my *kitten*! I knew that my upper body strength wasn't that great, but I didn't realize that I had NONE AT ALL!!! Holy cow. My arms are going to be burning tomorrow! I just can't wait until I 'know' all of the workouts so I'm not just jumping around like a fool trying…

Took yesterday as a much needed rest day from exercise....had my hubby's company picnic and ate pretty well. I'm a sucker for potato salad and had some of that.....and some fresh strawberry pie  BUT, according to my guesstimates, I was still (barely) under my calories for the day. Score! Got in a good workout…

SOOOO jealous! You guys are going to have so much fun!!!

I did HIIT 20 yesterday - today is my official rest day. This is the first day I've rested since I started. My body definitely needs it!

It is vegan. It says it contains more calcium than regular milk and it's only 60 cals per 8 oz. How you milk an almond though, I am unsure of.
-
To be honest, I don't really know. I just wanted to try it and it's really good. It doesn't have the protein like regular milk has, but I do think it's lower in carbs. I also like it because it's a little thicker (I normally drink skim) so it gives the protein shakes a little more substance I think.

Like everyone else, I'm going to recommend a heart rate monitor. Just be sure to spend the money to get one with a chest strap. The ones that are just watches aren't as reliable. I have a Polar F6 and I LOVE it!
-
Yeah, I make a protein shake after most of my workouts. I usually do 1 cup almond milk (sometimes chocolate, sometimes regular), 1-2 scoops protein powder (really depends on how much protein I'll be eating that day), a frozen banana (seriously, this is key - it makes the shake like a milkshake. AMAZING!), 2 tbsp ground…

Did Fire 45 today - it was so fun! I picked up on that one pretty fast. I just can't seem to get the 'twist' punches down for some reason. I actually finally got it today and then she turned them to the side - totally messed me all up! Oh, and it took me about 15 of the 'low highs' for me to get it. I was so used to…

Oh my gosh that sounds like so much fun! I haven't roller skated in FOREVER!!!
