You have been such an immense help @heybales ! I will be leaving you alone for a while since you just have cleared up all my confusion. Regarding my question, I will stick to eating the same number of calories every day. I feel it makes things easier. I have disconnected my polar from MFP and just keeping track on my burns…

Another update. So Saturday I ended up eating around 2400 est. cals, Sunday I ate 1900 and today I will be increasing to 2000. Sunday morning my weight went up from 122.2 to 123.4 and this morning was 124.4. I'm expecting TOM anytime so I know some of that is hormonal. Still happy that I'm only up two pounds. The strangest…

Thanks for the updates kmac1196.Keep them coming, please! I've enjoyed reading them. I'm also in this journey of finding maintenance. My weight stayed put until yesterday when it went up about a pound but I ate way above what scooby suggests and it is almost TOM, so I wasn't surprised. My plan is to try to do a recomp then…

Thank you @heybales. There is always some rest in between the workouts. For the most part I don't record the warm ups which can be a 400m or rowing 250m followed by lunges, air squats or whatever the coach says. Then we might do some stretching if we are doing any lifts, then the actual workout which can any anywhere from…

@mymodernbabylon Yes, that is my plan to do a recomp at maintenance. I wanted to do it the right way, so I'm not spinning my wheels. I will be dropping some Crossfit/bootcamp classes and incorporating SL. @heybales thanks for the explanation. I don't think my LBM is accurate as I have lost weight since then and my body…

Thank you ladies for the responses. @kmac1196 I read your ripping of the band aid post and you are so brave for increasing all at once. To answer your question, I have a polar M400 which is a sports watch /activity tracker all in one. It tracks your daily activity. I only use the HMR when I work out. To be honest with you…

I am not doing SL yet but plan to start soon. If you mean your heels come off the ground, I have the same issue too. You are not alone! I could hardly break parallel on my squat or squat all the way down without falling on my butt. My problem is a combination of tightness around my hips but specially my ankles/calf. Things…

My steps show up on my app and on my watch, I don't have a problem there. Now, when I synch to MFP app from the Polar Flow app, the info on MFP is always off. It usually rounds the time ( if my run took me 31:05 mins it rounds it to 32), also it the calories burned are always less than what my polar says. It is annoying…

I use polar flow too and it has never added my steps. It only counts my exercise but even that is not very accurate.

Wow, that is just an amazing transformation story. I used being pregnant as an excuse not to exercise or eat healthy!

I understand how you feel. I've been doind this since November 2012. I did take a little break ( maybe three weeks in January but still eating mostly healthy) and I have only lost 8 lbs. It can get discouraging when I still have about 10 to lose. I see changes in my body and I keep reminding myself that the scale not…

I do not have any advice but I do not follow the nutrition plan either. I found it too confusing as well. I did my own calculations and I am following their macros but I was just thinking about changing them. Also, I do not burn nearly as much as they say you burn. My highest burn has been with plyo where I burned close to…

Sorry to continue to bug, but did you do a specific weight lifting program? Or just free weights, squats, deadlifts etc. Thanks!

I had it and i liked it. I also like the Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural Vanilla. It doesn't have any artificial flavors or sweeters. It is great for fruit smoothies. No after taste.

Hi, i'm also a working mom. Ibalso lost 20ls after my oldest was born by running a lot and eating somewhat healthy. After my second things have been so much harder! I track my food and exercise at home (p90x) and i do a bootcamp class on Sat whenever I can... It is not easy! Try not to get discourage by the # on the scale.…

When your boss ask you to write a quick note to the employees about turning the sheets on time and instead you spell "$h!t" while he is looking over your shouder and reading it out loud... Opps! In my defense English is my second language and I don't like having people looking over my shoulder!
