  • So, after a hectic week with the family and things happening with my friend; after resting at taking paracetamol and no improvement in my knee, I went to a physio, because I thought it was just some muscle etc. During his exam of my knee, he felt that it is something more serious and that I have either torn my meniscus or…
  • Favourite egg recipe....... It usually starts out as an omelet ( 2-3 eggs whisked with milk and dab of sour cream) but in the folding/ flipping part gets all messed up and ends up being a bit of scrambled eggs. There is always cheese and polony but things that vary is mushrooms and veggies.
  • Welcome to @buddahboy87 @Diana6ft congrats on the weigh in.. We are just over halfway to Hershey, PA people... Yesterday I did two rounds of eg-ercize and today 3 rounds. Yesterday I got a feel for it and what and how I needed to modify some of the exercises. Yesterday got 69 minutes for doing an hour of slow yoga and the…
  • @ka97, it is an old injury. But this time it feels like something in the ball of my foot has been irritated that started the whole flare up and everyone is saying rest and don't strain too much. The podiatrist did a scan and my second to fourth toe didn't even touch the scanner thing, even though i tried to distribute my…
  • Sorry I've been a bit MIA this past week. It was TOM and I was bloated and feeling horrible in general. I've been having a problem with my right ankle since January causing me not to be able to walk properly, but I've been pushing myself to get 10,000 or more steps in a day. To top it off I somehow strained the muscle in…
  • Just calculated the distance for our group of 18 people, we all need 160 minutes to get to Ireland, ladies.. I think that is what most of us do in about 2 days of workouts. Maybe it is just me and my location, but is the second video unavailable to anyone else? @ka97, I think this will help with your recovery week.
  • I see on the spreadsheet that not everyones info is in. If need be and if you having trouble adding it, you can send me a pm or post it here and I will add them. I just thought I would offer my help that way. I have to say, I really like this group. The posts and likes on each others status or here is really like a great…
  • @jamacianredhair Added your minutes and second road block days. Great job with 330minutes in 4 days.
  • Thanks.. Hope you all having a great Monday so far, but I'm pooped from walking 20,000 steps today and I think a shower and good book in bed is due.. Good night from the Netherlands (its 20:30 here)
  • Quick question.. With roadblock 1, do we need to upload a short video of us doing it and for roadblock two do we add pics to this thread? Or just tick it off on the spreadsheet?
  • I'll post here then, There are three people on the team 6 list that I'm not friends with yet, it's Ahawkinss494, sillymetwo, and valtheran0. Other than that, I just went for a bike ride of 47 minutes and will be taking my sister to do some sightseeing in Amsterdam in a bit.
  • Are we using this thread or the new one 'Team 6 degrees of awesome??'

  • Hi, I'm Andrea and I'm almost 31 years old. I'm originally from South Africa, but have been living in the Netherlands for the past 5.5 years now. In that time I've gained about 3kgs (6.6lbs) per year I've been here. So I'm up about 15kgs (33lbs) that I would like to lose. Since being here I get the winter blues and food is…
  • I have read articles that say if you are doing 16:8, the best time to workout is at 14 hours into your fast. I will try and find them and post some links. What I do remember is that most of them recommend you eat a scoop of protein powder before starting, to help your muscles, especially if you going to be doing strenuous…
  • I have to agree with what the other said. It makes you more aware at times what you eating; even when not really counting calories. You know you can eat within a certain time frame and feeling the hunger is so good. Like you are eating for survival not surviving to eat.
  • My starting weight is 87.1kgs (191.8lbs) and I want to lose between 6-12kgs (13-26lbs) by Christmas..
