Ok, let me clear this up, tbh I didn't think I'd have to reveal my whole life. With IF you count calories by the week, not by the day. On a daily basis, I eat approx 1200 on average. One day a week, I have a higher calorie day, which is suggested in The 4 Hour body, where I eat around 3,000 calories. I do talk about this…

Starting bf% 38.6, mass of body fat, 36.2kg After a week bf% 35,9, mass of body fat, 32.1kg

I posted it to share my person experience, there is no rule of the forum saying "I am posting this, so YOU HAVE TO DO IT". The title was "How I lost 10lbs in 7 days" not "How you can lose 10lbs in 7 days". Maybe I am just overestimating the readers intelligence

There is a link in the beginning of the article. I understand that it is pretty much impossible to lose 10lbs or PURE FAT in 7 days. This isn't exactly what I meant. But if you look at my printouts in the link, you'll see why I used "How I lost 10lbs of fat in a week" as the title for this post.

Sure I get it. But I'm following this woman's advice http://www.myfitnesspal.com/californiagirl2012 Does it look like she crashed and burned? ;-)
-
Actually it's not... at the bf % I'm currently at, it's pretty much impossible to starve yourself, unless you don't eat for 72 hours. I am using this method of eating/exercising because of what i've read in critically acclaimed books like The 4 hour body by Tim Ferris The Venus method and Lean gains and Eat Stop Eat. If…

Woah woah woah, before you all start a witch hunt!! I am saying that I lost 9-10lbs fat ACCORDING TO THE MEASUREMENTS I'VE HAD TAKEN, in three different sources! I'm sure if I got a bod pod or dexa scan taken, it would show something very different! I am under no delusion that I've lost 10lbs of pure lard! Perhaps I should…

Hi there Jilly, I did actually burn about 9lbs of fat in a week, which I had double and triple checked by my gym with callipers and there fat measuring machine. When a did WW a couple years ago, I lost 7lbs in the first week, and by body looked no different, no change in inches. With this first week in IF (I was already…

Is this American size 12 or...? I'm a UK size 16 which is a US size 12, I think that is quite chunky, I'm a uk size 14/16 and i'm obese, this is my starting size!

I never feel disgusted after eating anything in small amounts, a cookie? Sure, yum. A bowl of pasta with some white cheesey garlic bread? Great. But I do feel ill if I ate this kind of food every day and also if I eat too much processed sugar, I feel nauseas and dizzy, like i'm hungover. However, I DO NOT have a list of…

Eating at different times in the day really does not make a difference. Ultimately, it boils down to calories in vs calories out. I too am a late eater, i hate going to bed on an empty stomach, so I do a plan called intermittent fasting - I eat in a specific window (usually 3-10). Now, im not saying that you should do…

Or she can just learn to be happy in her natural shape?

Gosh, at 5ft9 I don't think you have anything to worry about! It sounds like you have a beautiful figure, and I think you need to work on your self confidence a bit! Regarding the clothes, I think the most important thing you can do is to wear right fitting jeans etc that dont cause a muffin top and wear tops that dont…

How tall are you? and are they about as wide as your shoulders or more? I'm 5ft4 and mine are 41.5 inches, and although they are that wide because i'm carrying too much fat (190lbs) I don't think they are THAT wide. Maybe you are wearing clothes that focus on that part of your body?
-
Yes, but I will be having roast potatoes, crisps, sausage rolls, christmas pudding and lots of chocolate and alcohol!!! I'm pretty sure I will hit the 4,000 calorie mark pretty easily!

I'm confused...in the UK eggs come from chickens. Period. Is there somewhere in the world that can manipulate eggs to contain less fat? Weird.. Fat is not the enemy, especially fat from eggs. If you want to consume less fat, use one whole egg and a few egg whites.
-
Sorry but that article is not even scientifically based! It tediously goes on about the dieting myth norms...fat is bad for you..not having breakfast will put you in starvation mode etc. Your body does not go into starvation mode until 72 hours of eating NOTHING.
-
Your fact is a myth. I have and so have others I know gained muscle and lost fat on a deficit.
-
I did the 4hbody for a few weeks last year..but I was actually doing it as very low carb because I hated all the carb options (beans) which is why I stopped, it felt like I was eating food I hated all the time. I still can't look at an egg the same again!

Reduce body fat % There is no trick formula.

Like cinsuccess said, keep your back straight, good posture is important. Otherwise just do what feels natural and comfortable, keep relaxed. I find each elliptical very different, some are bouncy, some are rigid.

I'm always hungry too. For some people that's just how it is, I got used to it. Theres a documentry from Horizon you can find on youtube called "the truth behind fat" or something like that. It explains a lot why some people are always hungry.

I agree. I thought how i felt before i ate clean and didnt exercise was normal - tired all the time, lazy, no motivation, low self esteem. I was seriously wrong!

Tottally! I love how you can buy sushi and not feel guilty afterwards :)

I have actually been using Bio oil for the last year and didn't work for me. Let my skin soft but no change in scarring. I think I just have difficult skin!! I might try and return this one and get the Palmers oil specifically for stretch marks, this one just looked more potent!

People see weight loss surgery as wrong because it's basically handing over the responisbility of how much you eat to something else. You can't eat a lot, not because you choose not, but because you have a smaller stomach. A lot of people, including myself have been obese, morbidly obese, and lost the weight by sheer grit…

I shall do something a bit different! Largest waist - 40 inches (I was around 230lbs at the time) Smallest waist - 28 inches (4 years ago, when I was 19, I was 155lbs at the time Current waist - 32.5 inches (196lbs) Goal waist - 26 inches (Which I imagine is going to be anywhere from 130lbs to 145lbs) I also want 26-38…
