  • Either purchase or see if your library has "Womens Guide to Muscle & Strength" by Irene Lewis McCormick. I loved it and bought it from Amazon for around $13.00 Step by step guide for beginners through advanced w/ great pictures showing you exactly what to do. I have been loving the program.
  • You don't need to AFFORD anything. Walk girl, walk. Eat like a cow all you want, just DO NOT touch...chips, sodas, sugar, fat, take-out food. Produce is high, yes, but not skinless, boneless chicken ($2.79/#). Grill or bake the chicken and buy a bag of brown rice. Now those things you CAN do!!!
  • YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!!!!!
  • For me it's all about being fit. I use to run around w/ the children all of the time, but for the last 8 years have had a desk job. It made me lethargic! So tired all of the time. By working out, I feel better. I no longer crawl out of bed in pain. I also have a bad back and arthritis in my hands (I'm only 48, not 65!) and…
  • I'm not a doctor or trainer, but I would say YES. A friend of mine walked 5 miles a day and cut her meals down (weight watchers diet) and went from a size 14 to a size 6. Personally, walking is my very favorite cardio workout. I walk for 40 minutes at top speed twice per week and my legs look really fabulous. To add in a…

I can't name my top 5, but here are some of my most favorites: Jane Eyre Tale of Two Cities Gone With The Wind Atlas Shrugged Fahrenheit 451 The English Patient Girl W/ Dragon Tattoo (all 3) My Antonia (Cather) Handmaids Tale *Stars My Destination (Bester)…
  • You're right, Hunger Games & City of Thieves were excellent. The "other" bests would be: Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, DaVinci Code, Outlander, Handmaid's Tale, the Forgotten Garden.....I could go on and on:)
  • Growing up poor like I did, you learn what is important and what isn't. A roof over your head and food on the table is having monumental success. No matter how poor I was, I always had money in the savings, which was there for emergencies. I learned to purchase only things I needed, and only if I had the cash to do so. I…
  • I have realized that I'm not getting past a certain point because of the amount of fat that I take in. Therefore, I am having to give up on my (precious) ranch dressing when I get a turkey sub :( as well as not mound on sour cream and butter on many of my favorite foods. I lost 2 pounds immediately:)
