New to MFP but not to trying to eat healthy. Healthy eating has maintained my weight but I need to lose now. (20 minimum but 30-40 wouldn't hurt either) I'm a mom to 2 little girls and I run my own business so I know what you mean about very little time. Added you.

101Cookbooks.com has some fabulous recipes. Not always vegetarian but really great tasty foods. If you can, add in a new spice to your spice rack ever few weeks. Make a list of the spices in recipes you like, rate them by the ones most often used and get those first. You don't need to buy spices all at once. Also, I don't…

I've not been here long but you all are great and supportive. Hooray for weight loss buddies!

Yoga fixed me. But it wasn't the classes itself. I like the classes and I got hooked on Ashtanga but I was going to a regular class for a while (not Ashtanga) just for the stretching benefit and had some rough issues with my hip flexor popped up. I asked my yoga teacher for help and holy cow did it ever. I can't even…

I like Spirutein. Vanilla in Orange juice is one of my favorites.

Slow progress can be a good thing. We didn't put it on over night. What do you feel like you need help with?

You don't want to have massive meals to make up for it either. Sleeping in sounds awesome but is there any way you can wake up and have a 200cal snack and then take a nap? There are people that cycle so that may work for you. I'm not sure entirely how it works except that some days are under cals and other days over.

This has been me for the past 5 years or so. I managed to maintain my weight but not lose anything. I could tell you that I was relatively good and I was but in reality I know I didn't put in the effort needed to take it off. As you get older it gets harder and you have to put in more effort. For me, looking back to the…

I can't wait for Walking Dead (My weekly zombie fix) to start again!

I avoid the scale during "lady times". It's depressing if you are really looking at the numbers hoping for a change and that change is up. In general I only weigh once a week but if that log in day is in the middle of lady times, I skip it and will log in on the next one. It's not worth the frustration IMO.

The first rule of zombie land is cardio. You can do it. Gotta run so the Zombies don't eat your brains. All the new zombies are much faster than those from the 70's and 80's :)

wow! Great results! You look fantastic. I know what you mean about the mirror and the before pics. I took them anyway because I'm hoping I see the difference too :) Rock on.

I actually like a lot of Zuzana's old Bodyrock stuff the best. Hot Warrior and Poker Face are old time favorites. For the newer Zwow workouts, I can't say I have a favorite. They're all just really good. I'm not great at pistols so I might have to say, I have a couple of least favorite workouts :)

Definitely a difference! Way to go!

The last time I lost the weight I had a real life buddy and it was good. Lean on the community here online when you need to. And the good thing about online, I bet someone is here at all hours of the day. In real life there are a very few people I could call at midnight to talk me out of that 500 cal dessert :) You can do…

All 3. Black coffee to start my day. Green tea (and water) through out my day. It helps chase away the hunger. Then dessert after dinner is usually Earl Greyer tea with a touch of Stevia. I used to drink coffee all day but while I enjoy the taste, I don't like how it leaves me feeling so one cup is plenty for me.

Break up your meals into 5 or more. Like grazing all day long but smart. Small meals and snacks, spacing it out helps. Also choosing the right foods and more water will help. Smart foods for your all day eating will help kill the cravings. Protein over carbs. Some days when I just can't feel full, I'll drink protein water.…

Way to go! Such a difference!

Hi Dana! You're working on it and that's the first step. The second IMO is to remember to be kind to yourself. You didn't get overweight overnight, you won't get thin overnight either. It takes time and making healthy life changes means that you will be able to keep them. I'm new to MFP but not calorie counting. The…
