Get books from the library. I am not employed at the moment. It is the first time in 10 years without a job so I am not in a rush to be super productive. I workout and clean, run errands etc. I also stare at myfitnesspal forever and imagine a skinny me. lol

I spent 3 months losing nothing, not even a first "30" or "1" to speak about. I am doing the roadmap thing now and have high hopes. I am sure you will find something that works for you. Just keep at it and maybe take your workout to the next level.

Just because you could drink all the time and be skinny when you were younger doesn't mean you can now. The ice cream does not taste better than getting healthy. When it feels difficult, it means you're doing it right. haha

In my ongoing journey to figure this out I have come accross some information. Try changing your calories for a week. I don't know your situation, but go up or down about 200 calories depending on what you are currently doing. Try that change for a week and see if it makes a difference for you.

I am overweight and out of shape....it takes me less time than most people. I don't have to do much for the heart rate to get in the zone and the sweat to start pouring and I keep it up for at least an hour sometimes two. I take breaks for sure. I wouldn't be able to do it everyday and some days are really light.

I have my daily goal for food set at 1750. I tend to burn around 1200 a day. *sigh* I am never going to get this right. If my RMR or whatever is like 1400 something I know I should eat at least that much, but I am supposed to NET at least that much? Oh my.

The good thing is it is easier to make great food choices when we are not really that hungry. :)
