my confession: I know absolutely nothing about how to eat properly other than what I've been given snippets of. I stick to lean cuisines and healthy choice meals because they're low fat and it's easier to control my portions! I'm seeing a nutritionist but the earliest appt they had was March 19th.

I have 230 pounds to lose!! Firstly it's good to see a doctor because there might be problems as to WHY you aren't losing weight. Start with the basics: Log your food, realize portion sizes as opposed to container sizes, quit soda, restrict drinking your calories, exercise more often ---even just walking is a good start.…

I'm 23 and weigh 429 pounds. I am losing it so that I don't get diabetes or other health complications. ALso for my very future children. I want to be able to be pregnant and healthy and then healthy after I have my baby. *(*this is all in the distant future) lol

one of my friends on here uses the mantra: My goals are bigger than ________ . Ex my goals are bigger than a bowl of ice cream. just repeat this to yourself and go do something so you don't eat from habit or boredom. :) Hope it helps
