  • The only way I get it right is to open the box, divide it to 7 equal portions (or however many it says the box contains) and then store them separately in Tupperware. It does take up a bit of room in my pantry, but at least this way I know I've measured correctly beforehand.
  • I understand how you feel. I also thought I'd have kids (and be married) by now, and it hasn't happened for me. For me, loneliness triggers a binge. Its like I use food to keep me company. I also grew up with a mother that harped on me for what I ate- and I wasn't an overweight child or teenager. She was heavy, and worried…
  • I have the Fitbit zip that tracks my steps. I have my goal set at 12,000/day (that's 5 miles). I usually make my goal (except yesterday I only did 3787, but made up for it with other exercise). It tracks Sunday-Sunday, so I'll check back in next week with my stats! Disclaimer- I don't work for the company or anything, but…
  • I think you'll like this. The hardest part (for me) was figuring out the thickness/time baked thing. It might take a couple trys to get it exactly how you like them, but totally worth it!
  • LOVE this one....in fact, I now prefer this to fast food fries. :) Fat-Free French Fries 1 medium baking potato 2 egg whites Mrs Dash salt free table seasoning (or- try the Mrs Dash salt free southwest chipolte if you like things spicier!) Scramble egg whites and seasoning together. Cut potato into thin wedges (not too…
  • That sounds really good! I'll also check out those other sites. I got a recipe a few years ago that is very similar to that chicken/Italian dressing one. It;s also super easy and takes very little time to prepare. One-Pan Chicken Bake I package boneless, skinless chicken breasts Kraft fat free zesty Italian dressing…
  • Tidesong- thanks for the recommendation. I need a new one, and I think I'm going to order this one. Looks good!
  • For Thanksgiving it won't be a problem, since I am going to a restaurant for Thanksgiving lunch. For my holiday party, I plan to send people home with treats. I haven't thought about what I'll do if they don't take a box of food with them. I won't be a 'food usher' lol, so no pressure to take away food. I guess if I have…
  • Food 7/7 Water 0/7 (I struggle to drink 8 glasses...usually do between 6 and 7) Exercise 7/7 CW (current weight) optional SW (starting weight) optional OR WL (weight loss) 2.8 lbs I have no idea how to add my points.....
  • I live in an area where most of us are transplants from somewhere else, so lots of us can't 'go home' for Thanksgiving. One of my walking groups has a Thanksgiving lunch planned at a restaurant nearby. Its a fixed price that includes soup or salad, turkey with all the fixings, and dessert. I plan to just eat what I want.…
  • 1- Eat before you go. 2- Have 1 plate with small amounts of what you most want to try. 3- limit alcohol to 1 glass 4- Have a great workout earlier in the day to offset calories. That being said, I am only going to 1 holiday party this year (my own, that I am hosting). Since its only 1 party, I plan to just have a good…

  • Food 6/7 (I went over on my sodium 1 day) Water 1/7 (I struggle to drink 8 glasses...usually do between 6 and 7) Exercise 7/7 CW (current weight) optional SW (starting weight) optional OR WL (weight loss) 1.2 lbs I tracked Sunday-Sunday. I hope that was right.
  • Maybelline Falsies Volume Express waterproof is awesome, as is Milani Infinite liquid waterproof eyeliner. I can be in the pool for hours and it never wears off. On the flip side, even with make-up remover, its difficult to remove at night.
  • Hi Stephanie....I added you. :) We are very close in height and weight as well!
  • Not bad....I only mixed up 2. :)
  • d. Mashed Cauliflower e. Stove top stuffing b. Traditional Mashed Potatoes a. Homemade Mac n' Cheese c. Candied Yams
  • I love mine. I did, however, have major issues getting it to sync with MFP, and I ended up un-linking the accounts since it was messing up my exercise logs on here. That said, I still love it. Its great knowing my steps for the day, helpful in setting goals, and great for motivating you to keep active. I just keep the…
  • If I am going out to eat, (like I did both weekend days this past weekend) then I plan my work out accordingly. I make sure I do enough exercise to account for the calories, then enjoy! I might not lose weight on those days, but I usually don't gain.
  • I'm interested as well! Just let me know what I need to do. Right now, my diary is closed. Not sure how this works, so if I need to open it, will do. :)
  • I also weigh in daily, since for me, its the only way I stay on track and am accountable. Also, like someone above said, I like to know the effects of certain foods on my body. I also took a photo in a tight fitting stretchy top and yoga pants when I started. Then I take a photo in the same outfit for every 10 pounds I…
  • I'd like to try this with y'all!
  • I swim a lot, however, in another few weeks I think the water will be too cold. (I live in central FL). I also power walk, with spurts of jogging, trying to build up to all jogging. Once the humidity gets better here, I will start riding my bike again.
  • Here's my favorite chili recipe. This is enough for 8 servings (it also freezes well). I plugged the recipe into the recipe section here, and it comes to just 276 calories/13g fat/ 348g sodium per serving. Enjoy! ~2 # GROUND BEEF ~1 LG ONION, DICED ~28 OZ CAN DICED TOMATOES ~2 8 OZ CANS TOMATO PUREE ~1 (OR 2) 16 OZ CANS…
  • I just ordered mine. I think it looks like a great tool!
  • Congratulations!! I have around the same amount of weight to lose as well- very inspiring!!
  • I have a bikini that I bought in the size I want to be, that I will wear to the beach. I will also be showing off the tattoo I want to get on my lower back. I've had the design picked out for a long time now, but I won't get it done until I am at the weight I want to be.
  • G'n'R, Metallica, and Def Leppard (my first concert) I still listen to Hair Nation on xm radio from time to time.
