  • I would try it and see and make sure your supply is good. I ate a net of 1400 but add in 600-700 for BF, and I am losing slowly. But I'm also one before that ate 1700-1800 and lost.
  • I do the same, especially when I need to pump or get something done...or sometimes just relax for a minute!
  • Thanks. I try to do hills, just depends where I go run. Going to try to do more trail stuff soon.
  • My son also hated tummy time at first. He didn't roll over until 6 1/2 months. I put him on there but didn't force it too much. he would even just roll to belly to grab something and then go back to his back. Now, only 1 1/2 months later he gets up on his hands and knees and is probably going to be crawling soon and he…
  • Thanks ladies. I will try some of those mum mums or rice puffs. I did get some gerber finger food things and he totally did not get it! I also tried bananas, but I will keep at it. He will eat more food if I give it to him, he's loved everything but avacado. Thanks for the advice! I just think he would like the finger food…
  • I ordered it last week, should be here soon, probably will start toward the end of the week.
  • I can't see your diary so how much are you eating? Maybe you need to eat a little more or mix up your exercise.

  • Probably formula feed. I currently EP and have most of the time. Formula is easy and anyone can do it. I guess I'm just so used to cleaning bottles and pump parts. But I do it for the health benefits and cost. But it was nice to have no period for 16 months, had one at 7 months pp but it was pretty light.
  • It sucks he is getting up more regularly now. Miles would sleep about 7-8 hours around 2 months, then about 10 weeks (when I went back to work of course) he started waking up to eat around 3/4, but it only lasted a month and now he usually sleeps about 11 hours....but maybe once a week he will get up to eat still. So hang…
  • Thanks ladies. I'm just going to have to stay up later some nights after I workout and get some work done, or work a few hours on the weekends. I am not giving up exercise, and maybe only a little sleep. I could probably survive on 6-7 most days. I just historically haven't been able to make myself get up to workout and…
  • Awesome, I'm doing the one in St. Louis, and that's great you can do 10 miles at that pace, hoping one day I can work up to that.
  • He is almost 8 months. I probably eat 50/50, I'm going to try to work in more fruits and veggies to start
  • I am and I have done my research. The body is amazing. The only thing that really is a concern is too much trans fat.
  • Thank you guys for your suggestions. Most of the time I will probably only be able to run for about an hour, maybe a longer one on the weekends. I will just try to get it slow but hard enough to complete the hour without walking. I am also doing circuit training to prepare and might do insanity. I have been working a lot…
  • That's a good place to start. I was trying to eat 50/25/25 before, but find it hard to get enough protein? Do you think that's a good goal? And ladies you're not giving me a lot of hope!! I know it is the reality though
  • I don't eat healthly, just haven't figured out how to make time for it yet. I eat too much fast food while at work and at night it's a lot of frozen meals. I workout usually at night, or sometimes my mom will go for a walk with my baby so I can run after work, but it's been too hot lately. I decided to focus on the…

  • I would add the extra for pumping. I EP and have net of 1400 and whatever I pump which usually gives me around 700 more, so I'm usually netting 2100 or so. Although last week I was under most days, so we will see if it helps with the weight...it's so stubborn!
  • I agree with most of the ladies. I just wanted to add that I pump and bottle feed so I know how much Miles gets. He would drink 36+oz per day. But since around 6 months it's been more around 30. So even if he is nursing the same he might not be drinking as much, which is normaL, especially with the solids. Keep up the…
  • Your birth story is amazing and you are a badass! I would have liked to go the home, or at least widwife route, but i'm really glad I didn't. I had a c-section that resulted in some pretty severe complications. My son was born at 3am and I didn't get back into the room until after 8am, so I missed a lot then and I couldn't…
  • Dark chocolate almond milk is delicious! I cut out regular milk but still had some dairy, because it gave my little man gas.
  • I agree with what the others said. I don't think I could personally be a SAHM, part-time would be perfect for me. Luckily, my job is flexible so I stay home with him on Wednesdays and I have days I don't have to be in early, but have to work some late nights as well. For me, I love being a mom but also need my professional…
  • Thanks! I am working on my upper body very slowly. I did 5 miles, but would feel more comfortable with 8 or so by then, but I think that's attainable. Days I do strength I try to do a Turbo Fire HIIT workout and that has some plyo, so hopefully that helps. Thanks a lot for the suggestions, I'm excited and scared!
  • I understand. I'm not a big runner. Yesterday I did a 5.3 mile run in 60 minutes with hills. My goal is 2-3 times a week with one long run/walk on the weekend. I'm also going to make sure at least one is a trail of some sort!
  • Yesterday I ran 5.3 miles in 60 minutes with some good hills. I am going to try to run 3 times a week, once being a longer distance and keep up heavy lifting and attempting pull ups! I would think insanity would be good training, never tried it though.
  • Thanks for the advice, that really helps. I have been doing some hill running. I still feel I need to go longer distances. Yesterday I did a 5 1/2 with some hills. It's awesome that people help but I don't want to be a weanie :) And awesome job on completing a tough mudder.
  • I still have mine at 7 months pp. I do think it's getting a little lighter though.
  • Sorry, I did read it, just wanted more opinions. It was decent info, but I didn't want to just follow one person's blog. Thank you so much for the advice everyone.
  • thanks for the positive comments. I am going to continue heavy lifting, attempting pull-ups, push ups, and try for longer cardio to work on endurance
  • Yes I did read it, wanted more opinions, don't have to be rude!
  • Bump, anyone who has done one?
