I have one I used through the Facebook group. I answered a lot of questions. However, when I got my numbers it was really close to setting my macros to 40/30/30.
-
Try them on your knees first and build up. It won't take long if you do it regularly. I used to never be able to do a tricep push up on my feet and now I can do three!
-
Just got to burn fat everywhere. Make sure you're getting enough protein and strength training will really help.
-
If you're active you probably need to eat more. I would try increasing honestly. That's pretty low for that regular of exercise. I lose slowly eating 2100
-
I don't give up anything, as long as I can make them fit into my macros!
-
I do everyday in the morning. I sync this to fitbit and the fitbit app has the average weekly weight. I like that because I can see my average for the week and it's been about half a pound less every week...I'll take that because I eat too much sometimes.
-
That's a lot of exercise. When I am super active I eat around 2000 and lose slowly...I'd prefer that over feeling like crap and not getting a good workout in. And if you don't want to lose muscle mass, you need to keep your deficit smaller (500 or less)
-
If you don't feel good at 1200 and are eating well I would up it a little (100 or so at time) and see how you feel. I personally cannot eat under 1500 with no exercise or I don't have enough energy.

I am having this issue too. I am trying to eat about 100-200 calories over maintenance. I still burn more than that, so it puts me in a slight deficit. So far I'm losing about 1.5lbs eating around 2200/2300 calories a day with lifting and a couple days of cardio.
-
Thanks. I feel the same way. At 130/140lbs I was still in a size 10...just have those big hips!
-
Thanks. I am keeping better track of it now. I have been losing this week averaging around 2300 calories so I will stick to close to that and track my progress :)
-
Hmm, I didn't know that. I mostly lift now and do HIIT workouts. What is a good way to calculate calories burnt while lifting?
-
I do have the fit bit HR which does HR monitoring ;)
-
I don't know what "they say" about overweight, but I have a pretty large frame. Around 160 would be my goal. I was 140 in high school, but I was way too twiggy! Maybe I'll try to cut down to around 2000 and see how that goes.
-
The program that I'm doing recommends 2400 so I'm trying to go with that but decrease a little. Plus I do a tad more cardio than the program as well.
-
I don't really trust the fitbit calories burnt. However, during workouts it usually reads lower than my HRM does. I can try 1700-1800 but I think I will get too hungry with that. I want to make sure I'm eating enough to build muscle, so my goal is a little deficit. 1700-1800 would be more of at least 500 calorie deficit…
-
I measure every once in a while, but usually do pictures...I'm terrible at measuring!! This last week if the first week I've kept good track of my calories, so I should give it a little more time. I understand the fluctuations. I've been between 177-184 since I started lifting!
-
Yes, I need to shed fat first. Even eating at a little deficit I have noticed a little increase in muscles. If you are at an ideal weight, I would eat around maintenance if you are just looking to add muscle/tone.
-
Spin and booty barre. Total 90 minutes and over 800 calories!
-
My goal weight is around 150. I have a larger frame. At 155 I was just starting to squeeze into 10s.
-
I have been following the 16/8 as close as possible. Sometimes it's more like 14/10 or 18/6 depending on my schedule. Feel free to add me anyone ;)
-
Thanks!

I imagine it's water weight from the sodium. Just drink lots of water, it should go back down.
-
Agreed. It's not easy though being a mom, working full-time, and working a business, but I've been better the last few days and ready to get back on track!
-
Nice to meet you! I'm 31 and have a 2 year old son. I did great until I got pregnant and gained 70lbs. Now over 2 years later I'm 30lbs over pre-pregnancy weight...I just can't seem to stick with anything. Friend me if you'd like...I will support as much as I can :)
-
I realize that, I have never eaten below 1500 net, usually a little higher.
-
thanks, I"ll focus more on diet first. And last week was my TOM, so that probably doesn't help. Also since I started insanity again my appetite has increased even more
-
Thanks for the suggestions
-
Thanks for the suggestion. I really just started with the better eating last week, but had many birthday festivities which didn't help. Like I said I'm just really starting to try to eat better. And I don't always log water but I average 12 cups a day.

Thank you very much!!
