  • Not really because I've never asked about this. thanks for the help
  • I got my first "period" around 6/7 months. But it was really light and I didn't have any other normal symptoms except for light bleeding. I have gotten maybe 3-4 more of these at 13 months pp. I am afraid my first real period is going to be terrible. I imagine it's coming soon, as I am pumping 3xs a day now and thinking…
  • Hello. I also have a big guy. He was 26lbs at his yearly, but he was close to yours at that time too. He grew so fast at first, I think 4lbs the first couple months, crazy. Anyway he is 13 months old. I currently only pump, and I am thinking about weaning but am still going. I still have 20lbs to lose though :(
  • And we totally need to make those shirts..lol!!
  • Yes, I understand completely, it's like why try? I actually kinda gave up after September, and I gained a few lbs, but all but 1 have come back off within a few days. It is a weird emotional thing though thinking about weaning. I think I'm going to try Miles on whole milk soon and see how he does, maybe that will make my…
  • I agree about sharing the benefits and if they don't care then they don't have the best interest of you or your child in mind, just ignore them. It sucks that people this day are so weird about that. Even my ped,( I only pump), I asked her how much breastmilk he should be getting at his year appointment and she said I…
  • I love turbo fire and got great results. I also have done insanity and t25, but didn't stick to them. T25 was a good workout and very doable especially with only half an hour. Jillian has a lot of different workouts, you could always try those and mix them up. There is 6 week 6 pack, ripped in 30 just to name a few.
  • I noticed little dips when I cut calories. Just go it very slowly, maybe 100 and see how it goes before cutting too many.
  • Thank you. I also prefer running outside. But having a treadmill gives me a lot more opportunity to run. Not only do I not like to run when it's really cold. I have a one year old and work full-time. So I don't have a lot of time for it. That's why the treadmill so I can run at night after he is in bed.
  • It's hard when it's 0 and there is ice and snow everywhere!
  • I think once at work would have to stay personally. You could try it, or is it too painful? If not, maybe drop the amoutn of time of each of those pumps before transitioning to one. And I only pump 4xs total so I htink that would be fine. I also sometimes go 7/8 hours depending on my schedule. Hope this helps.
  • I will be running mostly, so I really need one that is sturdy. I am looking in the $1000 price range. I didn't really want to spend that much but it looks like I'm going to have to if I want something decent. Thanks for the input.
  • I was also looking at a proform, the power 995.
  • I also wanted to add, I have done a lot of google reading about this to give me hope. It is fairly common. And many of the women that said they lost a lot/easily during bf said they gained it back after weaning. So I guess it's better to be chunky for a year or so than be thin for a year and gain it back. There is hope for…
  • I completely understand, it's such a weird feeling. My son turned one on 11/25 and I EP. I am so sick of it yet I feel extremely guilty not giving him breastmilk anymore for my own selfish reasons. I know the situations are a little different. But what helps me cope is I have 110 bags of frozen milk in my deep freeze. So…
  • I think I'm in the same boat too unfortunately. I gained 70lbs while pregnant, lost about 50, but it has budged very very slowly when I have really tried. I've been stuck lately, but some is my own fault. I'm really hoping when I wean soon it will easier to lose. And I'm really hoping for at least an easy 5-10lbs! Hang in…
  • You can add it under food and it basically gives you extra calories.
  • Cottage cheese, chicken breast, beans, that's all I can think of at the moment.
  • I only pump so I know how much I make. At the most I was producing about 40 oz a day and was putting that in that way, so I was getting 800 calories. But I would say if your supply is good, you're not hungry then keep going with what you're doing. But if you are hungry eat more. I also have a big boy. He's about 25lbs now,…
  • I gave him vitamin D drops during the winter last year but haven't in a long time.
  • I might join you guys. I did this last night. I actually started the workout two weeks ago and did the first week and then had a rough week and didn't do anything until yesterday. Not sure if I want to start on week1 or 2.
  • I pump in my car a lot just because i travel a lot and don't have an office. Maybe you could park kind of out and cover up? Sounds better than the bathroom.
  • Thanks ladies. I know he loves it out of the bottle! Around a year I'm going to try to transition to some other milk too. But it would be nice if he got some during the winter months.
  • Those are good suggestions, although he doesn't like avacado...the only food he won't eat so far. I'm still not sure what to do either. I guess I have at least a month to decide. Since he will still probably be on bm for a while I should be ok. But it would be nice to transition him to something so we could do…
  • I am having this debate too. I was thinking about doing more research on goat milk. I hear it's closer to human milk than anything else. It is more expensive, but they also have a powder form. The only thing about almond milk is I thought babies at that age need more fat. Maybe I'll just keep pumping forever...ugg. Being a…
  • That's an awesome pace! I haven't gone much over 10 minute mile, was just getting my 5ks under 30. But I rarely have the chance to run anymore, especially with it getting dark so early and work :(
  • I have done quite a bit of running, maybe not quite as serious as you though. My son is almost 11 months old. I did a mini last May which I did not train for at all and took me 3 hours! But after that I got more serious about it. I have done several 5ks and did a tough mudder in September. While training for that I did…
  • So I talked to my pediatrician today and she suggested just using all the breastmilk until it's gone. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, for some reason I think it would be better for him to have some throughout the winter. I will think about it, and now I think I'm ok with going a bit longer, even if I pump once or…
  • Miles slept about 7 hour stretches around 2 months. Since I mostly pumped then, I think that helped. I gave him a bottle at night, which is usually when supply is low. Or maybe he is just a good sleeper.
  • Thanks. He drinks about 25-30 oz a day still and I'm making around 30 so not much extra. I'm trying to get him to have enough solids so it's not more than 25 and he does great with other food. But still eats a lot of purees, just doens't seem to get enough with finger food although we do both. I haven't completely decided,…
