How long was it before your energy returned, and you felt like moving again? - I had a c-section, so it took a while. Within 2 weeks I felt a lot better. How soon did you start trying to lose the pregnancy weight? - I gained 70, lost water weight and baby of course, about 30 really quickly. It took me until now (almost 11…

A year is awesome! I bet it's freeing. I miss caffeine and regular bras! My current nursing bra is actually getting a little big and it looks weird, but I'm sure as heck not going to buy another one...that's a good treat! He will be one in 42 days...not like I'm counting. I think my supply is naturally decreasing some, so…

Thank you, for some reason it's harder now than in the beginning when I was pumping 7-8 times, maybe because it's almost over. I will re-evaluate my frozen stash in a few weeks when he is 11 months, and decide what to do. As much as I want to quit, it will be sad to see my supply dropping more.

There is powdered goat's milk that isn't too expensive, plus it doesn't go bad. I might think about that.
-
And I figure I would pump at least until he's one even if I'm down to twice a day.

Thanks. I was thinking I could do a bag(6oz) a day until it runs out and he's transitioned to cow's milk or whatever so I don't have to take bm with me everywhere. Miles hasn't really been sick either, and I wonder if that's part of the reason. Just a few little stuffy noses, and we have been sick.

Anyone?

I am on the mini-pill with no problems. I've always been on some sort of pill.
-
I would keep 1400 and add in 500 for bf. I net about 1480 calories.
-
Does she take a bottle? Maybe you could pump and bottle feed at least until she makes it to closer to a year for cow milk. At this point you would probably be fine pumping 4 times a day.

Like Jillsie I bought some things but tried not to buy too many things. I have 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of capris, and a pair of shorts. I bought several shirts, but I don't think they will be too big when I lose. I made sure I didn't spent too much. But it was hard for me to find pants that fit due to my darn belly. At…

I'm glad you're back! I understand not feeling yourself with the lack of sleep. Although ours wasn't that bad, Miles went through some sleeping problems around 8 months. He just would not go to sleep at night and would fight it. I would end up rocking him and holding him until 10/11/12 and I couldn't funciton very well at…

I have to do it at night after baby is in bed. I just cannot get up and workout early, even though I'd only have to be up around 6. So usually I start my workouts around 9/10, but I don't usually have to get up until around 7. I also try to do longer things on the weekends like long runs, I kinda feel like it helps even…

I'm planning on doing the monumental mini-marathon.

Oh, I see, haha. Still seems like a good option to me if you can't find anyone part-time. Do you want a nanny specifically or would you consider daycare. I think they take part-time as well.

I don't have any personal experince with this. But if you trust the woman it seems like a great idea for free especially, if you are up to watching her child as well. And I know what you mean with the lactating and not losing...so frustrating.

I exercised pretty regularly during pregnancy doing zumba, turbo fire and other things. But I got sick about 8 months pp and stopped working out. I started back after I got cleared at 6 weeks. I started full force with turbo fire, but I didn't do anything consistently until about 4 months pp. It was just too hard for me…

I am having a particularly hard time with this now that Miles is doing so much more (almost 9 months). I just keep thinking if there are ways around it, I don't think there is at least right now. I just try to really enjoy the time I have with him. My parents watch him so I think that helps and I want him to have a good…

I have the same problem with pants, nothing fits me well, it's frustrating, but i still have 25lbs to pre-preggo weight.

At 8.5 months pp mine is getting better but I still have a long way to go!! Last time I measured after a month I had lost everywhere except my belly, so stubborn. So I have started doing more core stuff, no I'm hoping when I measure soon it will have decreased some. I'm also hoping bf is contributing to that some and when…

We have the peg pergo, which I mostly got because it's more compact and it goes rear facing until 45lbs. I also have a big guy, I put Miles in it around 6 months, because he outgrew ours, which was only up to 22lbs. Even though it is compact it has to recline all the way in rear facing so the passenger seat is a little…

Thanks for all the advice. Since I really did feel bad yesterday after the fact. Tonight I started bedtime at 9:30 because he didn't seem very sleepy. I changed him, put on pj's, milk, read a book to him, and then cuddled for a few minutes. I put him in his crib and told him good-night and I loved him. He cried, but this…

Thanks guys. If I continue with the crying, I really would want to be in there with him, I hated leaving him, but like I said it just seemed to make it way worse! It used to help when I would rub his back or head, he would settle, now it just makes him more mad I'm not picking him up. Maybe it's not for me, I still feel…

It wasn't constant screaming. And I looked into Ferber method and other controlled crying. It jsut seems like when I would go in there and try to comfort him it made it way worse and he would cry hard. But after the last time, within 2 minutes it was just on and off and more the whiny crys...not serious. I would not let…

Pre-preggo:155 Delivery:225...yikes 8 months pp: 179 Still a long way to go, but I've lost about 15 real pounds since the easy stuff fell off so it's still been about 2-3 a month, I'm just impatient sometimes! I've lost slowly doing 1400 net.
-
I agree with what the others said. Is it your time of the month? Mine goes down then too. I also agree with pumping more to see if that would help. Good luck and awesome job for making it so far!

I just ate some mum mums with peanut butter
-
I've done the same. I always check him before going to bed and once or twice I noticed he was a little wet and I just let him be. I have mastered the changing in the crib without waking him up though when he was poopy!

My 70lb pitbull licks the baby all the time, Miles just giggles, he loves the dog. I try not to let him lick Miles in the face but it happens. And I feel bad that Miles often has dog fur on him, but I vacuum everyday!! That dog just sheds to much, but I love my furbaby!

I HATE DH's beard and he won't shave it. I already have a low sex drive at the moment, but that really turns me off! He says women like guys with beards??? Well not me. It's just gross, looks like pubes. He's been growing it since October I think.
