My supply was around 22oz per day when I started recording around 3 weeks. It is now up to 40-45 at 13 weeks. I made sure i pumped or nursed at least 7 times a day until about 10 weeks and went down to 6. I have been mostly pumping due to flat nipples. I want to try to get back to nursing some, but I'm so worried about my…

I would try it. I'm guessing he will let you know when he is full. If he spits up a lot after then it's probably too much, if not then maybe he will go longer between feedings!

I'm thinking I would want them to be around 3 years apart...I don't want 2 in diapers! I don't want to think about being pregnant anytime soon though, and next time I have to go straight to a c-section, so no labor. So maybe we will start trying when he is around 2. At this point I can't imagine having another one, but I…

I'm going to go with proper terms I think.

It's not too late it will just be rough. YOu don't have to CIO. You can try putting her in the crib and just soothing her without picking her up...or picking her up and putting her right back down. It might take a while, but it could work. I kind of started doing that with mine...he is only 11 weeks old. That was I am…

I have the same problem but haven't been working hard enough. I would suggest interval training and more strength to burn the fat.

Hello. My son was born 11/25 as well! I currently have my goals set up on maintenance, take 500 for breastfeeding (although I mostly pump and pump 35-40 which would be more like 700-800 calories) and I have it set to sedentary, which I have started working again so it's probably more like lightly active. This has worked…

If you want to produce less, just pump less and your body will adjust. I pump around 35-40 a day and wish I would make a little more because my guy eats 30-35 and I want to increase my freezer stash!!

Well I did it a while ago. It worked well. I was only around 160 then and lost 7lbs in the first 2 weeks without exercise.
-
We are very similiar. I am 10 weeks pp and had a c-sction. 5'8", I was 156 pre-preggo and was about 225 when I delivered. I also got down to around 188-190 and have been stuck there since. I'm hoping to break through. My ultimate goal is to be in the 160s again.

I would add a little more. I'm sure your little one is eating 20-30, so maybe put in 40 for breastfeeding, which would be 600 calories.
-
I have done South Beach but not while breastfeeding. I would suggest maybe starting on phase 2 so you're still getting some carbs and see if that effects your supply. You should also log to make sure you're getting enough calories.

Hello and welcome!

Congrats, my guy was 9lb3oz. I also gained around 60lbs, and have 30 left to go, 6 weeks pp. Feel free to add me :)

Hello, my little guy is 6 weeks old today! I have my goals to lose 1/2lb per week. I am breast feeding and didn't want to lose supply. Since I have really paid attention to calories I have been losing. I haven't really exercised yet (get cleared tomorrow hopefully) I also put in breastfeeding under food, so that accounts…

I have heard of this happening too. I'm onlky 6 weeks pp and have 30lbs to lose. But I currently weigh around 185, I weighed 175 before I started losing weight the first time. Then I wore a size 13, now I have to wear size 17, so 10lbs=2 sizes??
-
What did you have MFP set to? I set mine to 1/2 lb per week deficit, because I didn't want to risk my supply. I am slowly losing.

Hello, my baby is 6 weeks old today! I gained almost 65lbs! I still have 30 to go to pre-pregnancy weight. I'm trying not to worry too much, as long as it's coming off slowly, I'll be happy. Welcome and congrats on your little one!

I see, but some breastmilk is better than nothing! I have had to give some formula lately as I can't keep up with him. It's going to be a challenge for me to pump when I go back to work too due to the nature of my job. But I'm going to do the best I can, and if he has to have some formula then it will just have to be that…

Mine was pretty much gone at 2 weeks, it does take a while. You are stopping breastfeeding? Can I ask why
-
I've lost 33lbs10 days PP, but I also gained around 60. When I came home from the hospital it was only 13, but then obvsiously lost a lot more water weight.

I'm also hoping when the muscles get back together it will be horrible. I also had horrible swelling, but it is almost gone now, had my boy on 11/25. My feet are a bit swollen, but not too bad. Hang in there! I had a little trouble at first going to the bathroom, but they gave me colace stool softner and it helped. It took…

Welcome! I hope you have a great labor/delivery. Like Pepper said try not to worry about the weight too much at first, much of it will come off. Just worry about enjoying the time with your little one!
-
Yes, I'm pretty much just breastfeeding. It started out slow due to my complications during surgery, but now pretty much just breast milk, although I have been pumping too. I find that pumping at night is much easier and I get more sleep! And he has no problem going back and forth...little man just likes to eat. My guy was…

My boy is 9 days old, so very new mom here :) He is my first. I am also breastfeeding. I just set my calories to maintenance and am using whatever I burn breastfeeding as my deficit. I like it this way because I am not sure how much I burn breastfeeding. So far I have lost 33 lbs, of course mostly water weight, and I had 3…

Just wanted to let you guys, especially those that have gained a lot....I have lost 33lbs 9 days after baby. I did gain around 60 though. Remember, a lot will fall off easily, so don't think of it as the whole weight you have gained. I'm hoping to have only around 20 difficult pounds to lose!
-
Thanks ladies. He was 9lb 3oz, he was 8lb 6oz when he left and back up to 8lb12oz 2 days later, so I think he's doing well with that. Recovery has been rough, but it is much better now. I feel that I'm almost back to myself, and am ready to lose weight now! Luckily a little over 30lbs has come off 9 days Post partum, but I…

I thought I would finally share my birth story...hope it's not too long. My water broke at 3am on 11/24, so we got to the hospital around 4am. When I got there I was fully effaced and only 1cm dilated still. The contractions were bad, but continued to get worse. Around 11am (still 1cm), the doctor suggested I start…

I was thinking I could just pump in the car and feed too, so we would only have to stop for changes!

I have been wearing flip flops because it has been warmer, but yesterday was the last warm day. I have been just loosening up my other shoes. I also looked for a nice pair of slip on shoes, but had no success. I think since i only have a few days left I'm just going to wear my slippers!!!
