People always say to eat something little after a workout. Preferably protein. Even if I'm not hungry, I sometimes have to make myself eat something small.
-
That too!

oh the apple was to jump start my metabolism and give it fuel since it's been deprived earlier in the day from so little food intake. I wasn't that hungry later but made myself eat anyways. Would have never thought I'd have to make myself eat, I love food. Dieting is changing me!!!

Insanely crowded!! It was like sardines inside the sauna and I go to a 24 hour fitness super sport. The attendance has definitely ramped up even at later hours. Left at 9ish and quite a lot of people still there! It's a given that it will get even more busy after the new year's. Don't let it stop you. Last night, I heard…

Yep, we all know that pre-planning meals is the best way and to make sure everything is measured and reported accurately in your food diary but there will always be those days where things get in the way or you are too swamped to get all that done. In those cases, I'm sure some of us would rather not eat than to eat bad…

Its set at what MFP recommends. I never go by that anyway. I always try to eat more protein whenever I can but my diary has been all over the place in the last 2 months bc I just did whatever whenver with a consistent workout schedule.

Pasted 17 lbs? I use to never ever lose weight in my entire life but when I found out that it was possible, I believed it. Only thing is now I am PLATEAU'D. =\

It's so hard!

Knock yourself out! It's public! =)

I am heading to the gym whether I ate enough for not. I'm just not feeling like eating but I want to work out so my body knows I am not being miss lazy butt since the last few days. And it seems like on days where I am working out like a beast, I am not hungry but days where I work out less intense, I'm hungry. What…

HEY EVERYONE!!! So not that anyone really wants to know know but I've made my food diary public for those who are interested. It's been very inconsistent for the last couple of months due to my plateau since beginning of Nov. I lost weight consistently then I just went crazy because my body stopped responding to my…

Thanks but I can't drink the cals. I have low tolerance for sugar by choice. I just repel sweet things.
-
Oh I've done that before. 1 cheat day a week but I want a more aggressive diet/work out plan so I've cut out the cheat days. I've increased my daily cals to 1400 since I work out frequently. before, I was at 1200 for the longest time but the body doesn't like that anymore. Just that...I've been so plateaud. Trying to make…

I know...I know I need to eat more to have a decent work out. Cereal is out of the question since our office milk expired. I am trying to eat a good amount of nuts to fill up on protein. Extra fancy mixed nuts from Costco are very high in calories. That should be sufficient for the energy I need to work out tonight.
-
My office has premium roasted nuts, high in cals. I can make myself eat those too!
-
I plan to do at least a 30 mins workout. Weight training with some cardio in between to ramp up my heart rate.
-
I'm making myself eat cereal now. that should help.
-
I don't eat sweets. Hardly ever. I try sometimes and I can't get more than a bite in. I'm a savory food fan but no appetite at the moment.

I'm at work. Not a lot of options here. I don't want my extra calories to be bad calories. I want my food options to be healthy at least.
-
What is everyone's plan to accomplish this?
-
Oh it's okay if it isn't that related. We can still comment and suggest what we feel. I'm still forcing myself to eat this apple and barely half way through. I've decided that I will still workout but going to not work out too much. I need to lose 30 lbs by summer, my ultimate goal. Not sure if I can accomplish that since…

I'm forcing myself to have an apple right now but will still be low on cals. I'm just not wanting to eat.

Same boat. Only thing is I've been stuck (plateaud) since I lost my first 18lbs. sigh. Pls share tips on how to make this happen sooner than March!!!
-
Wow that took 2 yrs? oh man...I don't have that kind of patience! Fabulous accomplishment. Goes to show that hard work does eventually pay off with lots and LOTS of patience. Did you ever plateau during that period of weight loss? If so, how did you handle that obstacle?
-
Where's the URL or pics. I only see the cartoon pics and the tape measure photo. I wanna see. I need motivation!!! =/

Thanks for the advice and input. Maybe I've lost some muscles which dropped my BMR. Even if that is the case, wouldn't I need to eat more or work out more? Maybe I am too obsessed with it. I should just starve!!! sigh.
-
I have introduced carbs back into my diet since. My workouts have continued as before. I've only managed to maintain my weight but unable to lose anything. Someone told me that my BMR has increased and my body is supposedly "rebooting" another way for it to readjust to the changes from the weight loss. That this rebooting…

I'm feeling extremely discouraged too and I've lost a good amount but really cannot feel it. I made drastic changes. All I can suggest is, no matter how discouraged u feel, do not let it over come u. I'm struggling with my plateau right now. Try to make some little changes here and there like choosing better food…

I am RIGHT where you are! I know exactly what you mean. I've done the eat less than recommended, BAD IDEA. No one advises any person to eat less than 1200. That's already the bare minimum. That isn't healthy and you're in starvation mode. I've been stuck for over a month now and just stayed at my current weight. I'm at a…
