This kind of hurts me because I see it all the time. People with the fiber supplements. It may not be the case with you, but with me because I'm vegan and eat mostly raw vegetables/fruit I often get TOO MUCH fiber... yes it's possible. And it is a miserable feeling. This can also be the case with having too much protein,…

I'm vegan so in stead of cream cheese I use soy/coconut/almond yogurt, tofu, white bean puree, or cashew puree (or a mixture of these things) all the time. Works great! Especially in dip, I make dip almost every day lol.

Yessss I am the most seasonal person... to the point where even watching a slightly Christmas-themed movie on Dec 26th makes me severely sad lol. Luckily now I live in LA and it is almost always sunny out, but I still have problems when, for example, the sun goes down at 4:45 or it randomly rains. My solution is turning on…

There are a lot of Meetup groups that do hikes up Runyon. There's even a bootcamp one at Runyon from $5 every friday. I live really close so I may go one day, but as of now friday is my rest day :)

An ounce of prevention is a pound of cure! For me stretching stretch stretching all the time stretching. Before exercise, after exercise, randomly during the day, before bed, before you even stand up in the morning! That last one is actually really important because your muscles heel in a contracted position while you…

I love to make tabbouleh! You can make a raw version by just processing parsley, tomato, raw almonds, onion, and lemon juice -- then toss in some sprouted beans and salt to taste and it's delicious and super healthy. I also love to make chia pudding... ground chia seeds, coconut/almond milk, and sugar/stevia mixed together…

JENNIFER GARNER. Idk what it is about her, but something just makes me totally cool with the thought of her simply being removed from existence. I have met a lot of people who realized they feel the same once I said something lol

I thought I would do a detailed post for this because I have been all over the healthy weight range for 5'7". I am extremely small framed (almost off the charts lol) and actually like 5'6.9" haha ~150-155: ~150 down to 130: 135: 127: 121: Sorry I wear a lot of loose shirts so it's hard to tell sometimes. Anyway that's me!…

Omg people on this website are ridiculous. They hear anything around 100lbs and freak out. For 4'11" going from 116 to 96 lbs is going from 23.4 to 19.4 BMI... both well within healthy range. So yes it is very possible. I've seen a ton of people lose 20 lbs over the summer, which is 3 months, however it would probably be…

Seriously, this. All my workout gear is from Old Navy -- compression leggings, yoga pants, sports bras, wicking shirts/tanks, and running shorts -- love it all and it goes on sale all the time.

You will not look silly! I see people running in all kinds of stuff. From pajama shorts to designer sunglasses. LOL A good rule of thumb is to dress as if it is 20 degrees warmer than it actually is, because you WILL warm up! Also, running outside is a lot harder than running inside.

SW: 149 Group SW: 125.8 CW: 121 GW: 118 Woo! Couldn't weigh in for a bit (TOM :( ) so that's 1.6 lbs lost in just under two weeks. I was Losing pretty fast before so I recently upped my calories. 0.8 per week is still a little fast so I may up more. So far I feel good at this level though. Only 3 lbs to go! And over two…

That is NOT true! You are definitely NOT hopeless! It breaks my heart to read that! At your weight, you will lose much more than 2 lbs/week for the first couple months (ever seen The Biggest Loser?). Do not undermine even the smallest success. 100 lbs may not seem like much when you feel you have so much to lose, but you…

I ran across something interesting at Whole Foods called Bach Emotional Eating Support Kit. It has three different herbal supplement bottles for different phases of emotional eating/binging. It has really good reviews, I wonder if anyone here has ever used it?…

I would not really know where to begin! lol I suppose I could say I count calories by week instead of by day, with macros at 55% carb 30% fat 15% protein. I'm vegan so lots of veggies, veggies, veggies, nuts, beans, fruit, veggies, healthy fats, veggies, and moderate amounts of whole grains. All whole foods and lots of…

Hey! This is me a couple years ago at ~155 and last week at 122! Size 11 to size 2. I'm 5'7" and my UGW is 118. PS sorry I'm in the bathroom at Starbucks, yum lol

Hey I lost 30 lbs my senior year! I was at a big university for art school and had 17 hour studios every day, plus I had two internships! Finding time to get enough sleep and work out is tough, but for me it made me more focused and made my schoolwork flow easier. And healthy food is NOT expensive!!!! Crappy fast food is…

I'm always hungry too! I just have to get out of the house and/or keep myself busy. I like to walk to do my errands -- burns calories like crazy and distracts me from food/keeps me out of the kitchen for a long time. Or I do something sinful like walk to a store and try on a bunch of clothes/just browse, or shop online,…

Can I just say that it is like my biggest fear that the day I get an engagement ring will be a really bad nail day and I will have to take a pic of my lovely ring with busted nails? haha :( sometimes I question myself

lol hey we were in high school. I watched a lot of girls poke or push him to be "flirty". Sigh...

It's pretty true. I used to have a really skinny friend and you could actually hear him stop breathing and start flexing his abs if you ever went to hug him or do anything that involved going near is stomach. lol

I hatehatehatehatehatehate overweight girls using their boobs as an excuse/distraction and saying they're "beautiful, natural, and healthy". Overweight is not healthy, natural, or beautiful. On the same wavelength, neither is underweight. Starving people don't say, "Check out my sweet six-pack, bro." It's missing the point…

That's true, TJ's is well-known for his tomatoes and they have won some blind taste tests -- fresh, canned, jarred as sauce, etc. Just not the sun-dried, I repeat, abort that mission lol

I'm vegan and all their vegan stuff has a little V on it so it's easy to tell. Here is a list of all their regular vegan products (I think seasonal stuff is not included): http://www.traderjoes.com/lists/vegan.asp First and foremost, all of their nuts, seeds, trail mixes, and nut butters are AMAZING and WILDLY cheaper than…
