@jedaschultz and @podperson1 Great losses, ladies! Wooo Hooo! @Mrsbell8well Your rice cake snack sounds really awesome! I like having a slice of multigrain bread with a little peanut butter and sliced strawberries or apple. I'm proud of myself. Yesterday was the little one's birthday, and he wanted to order out for…

Happy Monday, all! Just wanted to throw something out to the group about weighing. Several of us experience the "up a pound, down a pound" phenomenon, and it can get really frustrating. Others kind of fear the scale each week. I was one of those. Because I'm on Noom right now, I have to weigh in every day. That seems…

Got some tight vocabulary along with those muscles.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, pet moms, step moms and mom-figures! Give yourself permission to be spoiled today!

@Mrsbell8well Your meals always look soooooo delicious! I need to research healthier dessert options. @nstephenson01 - That avocado toast looks awesome. I've been enjoying multigrain toast with hummus myself. @podperson1 - Hugs to you! I've usually found that sodium is the main culprit with big overnight gains. Maybe drink…

@CassieGetsFit2013 I have a Fitbit Blaze, and it will automatically log exercise if it senses me being consistently active for a certain period of time. But I can also select an exercise. I imagine if your heart rate increased for an extended time from your treatment then it could have affected your calorie burn. Does your…

@CassieGetsFit2013 I think the calorie burn has more to do with your heart rate than anything else. If I just select "workout" no matter what activity I'm doing, I'll have a higher burn for Hiit than I would for weights or yoga.

Holy cow - forgot to post my weigh in yesterday! Username: GingerPwr PW 138 CW 137

@lennoncpa Oh no! I know you're sad to see them go, and we'll all miss the daily dose of Sunny! @Mrsbell8well Your food always looks delicious! I love pasta too, and last night I sauteed a bunch of veggies (onions, peppers, zucchini, garlic and spinach) and had that over only 3oz of rotini noodles. Helped me indulge my…

Yesterday: Good on food - had more than my 1 allotted margarita. Oh well. Today got up and went for a 2 mile jog around the neighborhood. Drinking lots of water. Gonna venture out to Hobby Lobby to get yarn so I can finally finish my son's blanket. Motivational Quote Time:

Y'all got a giant nerd as your motivator! But seriously, Leia was probably my first female role model. She was strong, smart, generous, courageous, feisty, kind, beautiful, and was a tremendous leader. So since it's Star Wars Day, I want to encourage everyone to find your inner Leia. Be smart about your goals and plans,…

Hello to the new folks and huzzah to everyone returning! I'm Casey, I live in a small town outside of Charlotte, NC. Hubs and I are coming up on our 21st wedding anniversary this month and we have two boys, 19 and 13(next Monday). I teach 12th grade British literature, and I'm missing my classroom right now, but I'm trying…

@pacsnc6 I love your positive outlook! Hooray for hair and no nausea! I haven't eaten much today - wasn't really hungry. Coffee in the morning, a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch, some pistachios for a snack and a lovely salad with baked chicken for supper. Spent the day doing outside work - painted new fascia boards on…

@Mrsbell8well I'm so glad you're active in the group again! Also wish this pandemic would end - I'd so love to visit with you and Molly when you're in NC. Oh well - Someday, hopefully! @sleepymom5 Be sure to give yourself a big hug and an even bigger break. You went through such a stressful and scary time and you did it…

That is my EXACT breakfast most mornings! Lol!

@sleepymom5 So glad Jim is still gradually getting better and that you are also getting back into somewhat of a routine. Try putting lemon in your water - it'll be even more of a diuretic and help you shed the extra fluid. @tryingagain5 Glad you're still able to go into work. That sense of normalcy and purpose are…

Wednesday weigh in Username GingerPwr PW 140 CW 138 I've actually been a little too far under on my calories the last two days, but I'm really liking the workout schedule I set up for myself. I'm really close to my goal!

I like the low key lighting concept.

@1theresamcvean Gah that sounds like a truly terrible experience. I'm so sorry you went through that. Glad you're starting to feel better! @Mrsbell8well You continue to be beautiful and awesome and a wonderful inspiration to me!

Hi guys! New to the group. I want to stay accountable for my exercise. Cardio: Walking later, probably 1.5 miles. Strength: upper body - chest fly, reverse fly, lateral raises, pullovers, hammer curls, tricep extensions, shoulder shrugs, front raise (palm up) 45 sec. for each exercise, 10 sec transition. 3 sets. All…

@CassieGetsFit2013 I think @xX_PhoenixRising_Xx is right, you can't spot reduce. But I wanted to ask, if strengthening the lower ab muscles might help??? You just need to be content with the progress you're making. Don't worry about what other people have to say. It's YOUR body and YOUR journey and *eff* everyone else. And…

@Freeglerock A website I use for working out is Fitness Blender. You can filter your search for workout videos by the type and intensity you want and almost all of them are free. @xX_PhoenixRising_Xx Wow. I'm so proud of you for doing that much exercise when you feel so bad! And I'm sorry you are having a rough time right…
