Hi! I'm starting again too and could use some support buddies. I need to lose about 30 pounds. I had been doing so good and at my ideal weight, then injuries, a death in the family, life... Somehow I let my weight creep up.

God no. Absolutely nothing.

Fantastic, Matt! You look so strong and healthy, really great.

Hi Kate - I'm 3 lbs away from my goal so I know how you feel. These last few ones are coming off slowly! Feel free to add me - I'm really trying to work on my core + I run about 5 days a week.

Getting the right running shoe is important if you want to stay injury free, so that's great that they found something for you. I don't exactly love the look of my Brooks either but they have been good for me.

Hi there! I'm 44 with an almost 3 year old and a 4.5 year old. It's fun being an older mom, but has it's challenges, as the pregnancy weight has hung around longer than I thought it would. I tried this a year ago as well and I'm back and doing a bit better this time, as I'm sure you will too.
-
I'd love some daily motivation, thank you :)

Definitely take a couple of days off from running, and be sure to ice your injury several times a day (for about 20 minutes each time, not more). If it isn't better in a week you will probably want to see a doctor. I could be just a strain but you might have torn a ligament. Bummer about the timing.

That's fantastic! Good for you. Your hill workouts sound especially challenging.

Hi, I had a complete thyroidectomy in October 2010 due to thyroid cancer, but I was being treated to for hashimoto's prior to that. I'm finally feeling back to being normal & having more energy. I think it takes a while to get tsh levels sorted out. I finally feel like I have more energy now. Hang in there! Cheryl

Hi Tim, Congrats on your new baby and your 20 day milestone! I live in Colorado, so semi in your neck of the woods and have 2 little kids as well. I did the Couch to 5 K program last year and it really works. You'll surprise yourself in that you'll be running so well in just a few weeks. I'm signed up for a half marathon…

Really fantastic! That's also great that you are helping to inspire others with your willingness to share your journey. Thanks!
