im with the above comment, if you have to eat quickly then run into the local market and get a sub sandwich atleast. get away from that FAST FOOD.. I weight meat before cooking it but remember if you cook it and render all the fat out of it , it will weigh less. I also buy ground meat, chicken tender in the family size packs and then weigh then out and zip lock them to freeze this way all I have to do it take it out for dinner and its already portioned out :)

are you poaching your fish to eat?? if your using this to thaw it I highly suggest not doing this but putting it in a cold water bath. it is best to thaw it in a cold water bath. never put food in hot water to thaw, it will poach it and start cooking and that will sometimes cross over into a hazard level of contamination and harmful then to eat. cooking it depends on what you like. its not a rant honey.. i wish my hubby was supportive but he is not, and a son with autism doesnt even understand about food and weight issue, he just know how to tell me when he is hungry. That alone is a major stress on me.
