I have the Polar FT4 and I love it! Not sure on the FitBit as you have to wear it all day long....

I would not use the burns from the machine....I suggest getting a heart rate monitor for a burn count that is a little more dependable. :-)

Congrats! Amazing story, I am so proud of you. You look amazing and I am sure you feel just as FABULOUS. Job well done. :-)

You guys are amazing. I am working on a 1/2 in 2014.

Maybe you are not eating enough? I took a look at your diary (just a few days) and it seems as if you net less than 1000 calories per day on a regular basis. I'm not sure but this may play a role. I wish you the best. :-)

Someone may have already mentioned this but I would go to thrift shops. They have a great selection (many name brands) for next to nothing. I have become a major fan of thrift shops along this journey and now that I am in "maintenance" I still go (they can be soooo addictive). Best wishes to you. :-)

You look Fabulous!!!! Great job. :-)

I think it takes our mind a lot longer to catch up with our body. I totally understand where many of you are coming from. When people call me skinny mini now I somehow think they are mocking me as I don't see myself in this way. However, I did look through some old pictures of myself last night and was able to see a vast…

Well done! Losing 100 (plus) pounds is not easy feat and to have done it in 10 months is simply amazing. I can really tell a difference, especially in your upper body. I know how you feel about not being able to see the difference and "feeling like the before pic". I have lost a great deal of weight...I weight from a size…

I have grown very fun of "Thrift Shops" you will be amazed at all the great things I find, name brand (Banana Republic, GAP, Kenneth Cole, Ann Taylor, etc.) with the tags still on them. AMAZING. I love shopping now as before I dreaded it.

RunKeeper is a "free" app and has a 5K training feature. It is pretty neat and I think it may be what you are looking for. I hope this helps.

1. Never think that it is impossible! YOU CAN DO IT, just keep pushing. 2. Track EVERYTHING that you eat (even gum...it can add up). 3. Try to pre-plan your meals and pre-track them. (This helps me stay in focus). 4. Move around as much as possible, get in short walks/workouts randomly through out the day. 5. Don't deprive…

WooHoo this is awesome. It is amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it. I never thought I could run 50 yards and now a 5k is a breeze (well sometimes, lol). I love the way running makes me feel. I recently started using RunKeeper and it really makes me push myself. Congrats and job well done.

Yes, for example if your food is 240 grams put in 2.4 for the servings which will calculate to 240 grams based on the 100 gram serving/unit given. I hope this helps. :-)

Simply amazing, honestly one of the best stories I have read on MFP. I am so happy and proud of you, you have done a terrific job and are passing on your gift and knowledge to others. Thank you for sharing your story. Best wishes and continued success to you.
