I think that a strong support group of friends who have the same struggles, will help! Wishing you much success.

That's great....wishing you continued success!

We all come to the point were change is triggered in us! Maybe this is your moment of realization :) I wish you nothing but blessings along the way.

I think for me I left mine open because it was requested so many times. But honestly I'm doing what's working for me and it won't work for everybody. So I always get a little nervous when somebody has a comment about it. I don't want to try to tell people how to eat. I don't know myself most days. Have gotten some great…

You are doing an amazing job! Keep up all that hard work :) you're so worth it.

Welcome, hope you find the support you need :) The more friends the merrier.

Is 39 close enough? I feel out of place with the 30's lol. Feel free to add me :)

Wonderful accomplishment!

I think we've all experienced something like that. Either well meaning friends, family or even worse, people we go to for "help" know the "cure" for us. It's good to have the common sense to know when to politely decline and make your own decisions.

A strong support group makes the lifestyle changes so much more bearable.

"Truck Yeah" by Tim Mcgraw...not a theme I guess but, kicked my *kitten* into gear on the elliptical this morning. Now can't get it outta my head!

I would say your motivation is right there in the mirror every morning and that little cutie pie on your ticker!

Beautiful! You have done an amazing job. I love seeing the hard work paying off in before and after pics :)

You have made a fantastic transformation! Congrats :) Unfortunately you look disturbingly like my little brother in the "after" shots so I can't say you're hot! ;) That'd just be icky!

I have been battling "mommy and wife guilt" for a few months now. I finally came to the conclusion this week, that I am a stronger, more balanced person now that I prioritize some time for myself. I even changed my profile and screen name to reflect the changes. I used to be SimplySteph but, she was a doormat, a people…

I weigh in every Wednesday at 6am. I used to weigh on Mondays but man weekends made for bad news. I don't get enough fluids in on the weekends and that's usually when I'll have saltier foods :(

Great reminders :)

39 here so just under the wire :)

I am absolutely dealing with the same thing. As I get closer to goal, I seem to freak out more than I can relax. It's like my best friend is gone (food) and I have to deal with all my stuff alone. Scares me to death some days.

First, last and most important thing...STOP DOUBTING YOURSELF. I was the queen of I can't do it and I "wish". Now I realize, I stopped myself before I could even start.
-
Welcome back, hope you stick around this time :) It's been an amazing support system for me and I hope it will be for you.

If I'm really in a hurry, I'll do a Mini Babybel Light or two, half a banana and a couple high fiber crackers. My favorite is a slice of Rudi's bread toasted (high protein, fiber and whole grains) with a tablespoon of pb and apple slices or berries on top :) I also will do a turkey sandwich if I'm not feeling breakfasty.

Finding my "attitude"...it's been missing for many years now! I missed it...we are getting reaquainted :)

Aww, be nice people...it's been a LONG time since highschool for some of us...let us relive it through the secret crush! ;)~

This is my exact struggle right now! On top of that, my exercise and weightloss seems to bother my husband??? I thought he'd be happy :(

New Year's Eve 2012...sitting at my estranged father's house visiting him and his family. Watched how they were grieving his illness. He had Hep C and was dying from his heroin addiction 16 years after he gave it up. Part of me was thinking he brought it on himself. Part of me was dying for the dad I never had. But the…

Wonderful story and I'm so glad you decided to make a fresh start in your life!

When I was diagnosed my doctor told me to "treat carbs like you have an allergy to them". Simplistic but, effective. I dropped 96 pounds within about 7 months (10 years ago) by eating a very limited selection of carbs but, leaving my fruits and veggies. I however went back to the "norm" and regained it all. 5 years later…
