Welcome, and you will get great support and advice here. Make sure you make some of the members your friend so you can see their post daily. I enjoy reading about success stories and the challenges and how they got through them. Enjoy yourself and make it work for you.

I like that idea of only logging through the week when on maintenance. It gives you a little freedom, then you get right back on track.

WOW, congratulatins on the journey. Now you have become someone to watch and get motivation from. Thanks for sharing your story.

Looking good, can see your hard work.

My favorite right now is Welcome to the New by Mercy Me, the whole CD keeps me going.

I think my face has been where I've seen the most difference. I have not seen much change in my clothes at all. I hope when I get to 30 to 40 lbs loss, I will see a change.

18 lbs in almost 2 months.

Maintenance, I loose the weight, but it used to always come back. This time I plan to continue to weight once a week and stay on MFP. If I see a 5lb weight gain, I will go back to my 1200 cal a day.

I weight before. One thing I have noticed is when I weight right after getting out of bed I weight more. I have to get up and walk around and allow my body to settle before I weight.

"We will eat the fruit of our words." That means we will get exactly what we've been saying. Joel Osteen We must only speak what we want to see in our life. Teach your mouth to speak what you want to see. Faith is the evidence of the things not seen. By faith you are a winner, by faith you are delivered from the weights…

Great job, all you work has paid off. Your success story helps the MFP family to stay encouraged.

Tracking keeps me focused. I have lost weight several times. So what that tell you. I believe if you don't continue what you did to loose the weight it returns. I can't wait to get to maintenance. I will track for about 6 months and then weight twice a week. My plan is to go back to tracking if I see a weight gain of 2 or…

Melanie, sorry to hear about all those things that took place in your life. I am glad you are ready to take control and live. As I have heard, its no matter what’s going on, you can always begin again. Welcome to your new beginning. Start each day afresh and anew. Food is a comforter for so many, believe me you are not…

All of these sound like some good negative stuff to me, except the getting sick stuff. I have clothes waiting on me in my closet, so I am not worried about the needing smaller clothes part. Bring it on!

Most definitely. When I am on the treadmill I can go an hour as long as I have some good fast gospel music. I love to also read while on the treadmill. Good music and a book on kindle and I am all set. Need something to take my mind off of the time.

You look great to me. I had the same thing happen to me when I lost about 70 lbs before. But as I was gaining the weight back, not because of what was said, no one said a word. As long as you look and feel good, your good. I can't wait to hear those beautiful words, your to thin.

These have been some of the best responses I have read on here. I have lost and regained my weight so many times. I have learned with every successful weight loss, if you don't continue what got you there, it will return. To me, maintenance is just as much work as losing the weight. Continue to stay encouraged and move…

Sometimes its good to start over. It give you a fresh zeal. Nothing can get you motivated faster than that wonderful scale. Once you stop getting on it, its like you are not conscious of what’s happening to your body. I had a 30 something day streak, and was so busy and tired I didn't log in yesterday, so I just decided…
