Everything I've read says that if you eat less than 1200 calories a day, you won't lose weight as efficiently. I believe it because when I reduce my intake, I don't lose weight! If you want to create a recipe and find out the caloric value and nutritional value, I suggest you go to Sparkpeople.com. They have a calorie calculator and I use it all the time.. really good tool :)
