I'm sure this thread got out of hand, but I'm glad I read the OP. It was a great post, and it needed to be said. Couldn't agree more.

Trolling? Cause that's not healthy, not should be encouraged.

Your body goes into a bit of a shock after a sudden loss of a lot of weight, it happens all of the time, and you usually bounce back by week three or four. Eight pounds is a lot of weight in one week, but it'll continue coming off as you continue eating right. Yeah, it's not very motivating, but it's a fact of life, and…

I'm in! Thanks for the daily challenges!

Bumping this to save for later!

I log as I eat, except for the days I'm absolutely sure of what I'm having for dinner, then I'll log it as soon as I finish my lunch, so I know how much I have left in case I want an afternoon snack.

I squealed in joy for you! That's great!!

When my workout alarm goes off, I give myself an option to stay in bed if I can go back to bed immediately. But the moment I have one thought (even if it's "I think I'll stay in, maybe I don't need a workout today") I get myself out of bed. Once I've thought about working out, it's fair game  Also, if I have to pee,…

:noway: Burpees? But... but... but... ok, but only because I had a big slice of cheesecake for dessert last night. I'm in.

Just finished the last 20.

We'll all be here for you as you go down this new journey. I know you probably can't see it right now, but you'll be better off because of it. It's not you with the problem, it was never you. It was/is him.

I have 25 pounds to go (and I know it's not even close to how you feel but hear me out a moment), but 25 seemed like a lot to handle. So on my profile, I wrote out smaller goals, at 5 pounds each, to take note of and mark as a celebration. I've lost nearly 5 pounds and I celebrated making it there (writing it down with the…

When I turned 30, I said I was twenty-ten (20-10). I'm now twenty-eleven :drinker:

My high school best friend (male) couldn't get a girlfriend for a very long time. He went through high school and college mostly single. Then on his third year of work after college (I think he was 25), he met a girl there and they started dating. They got married two years ago. I always tease him about marrying the first…

Sounds good, will have to try this!

I know the feeling, where you feel like you're lugging around the extra crap you've eaten recently, and you feel like you need to flush it out. When it hits me that hard, I usually do Dr. Oz's 3-day cleanse. It's a lot of veggies in three different smoothies. I'm never hungry on it, but I feel better after having done it.…

I'm lucky enough to live in DC so I can go to Ben's Chili Bowl, and have the most amazing chili cheese dog, with a bit of onions. The chili here in legendary! Anyone coming up to the area should stop by, you won't regret it.

I was the exact same way in college, full-time school, full-time work, and never got around to taking care of myself. I ended up weighing 175 pounds, at 5'4", and even my sister said she was worried about what I eat, which was mostly fast food or unhealthy salads. It wasn't until a few months after I graduated that I…

I use this book: http://www.amazon.com/Womens-Health-Big-Book-Exercises/dp/1605295493 It helps me find weight lifting options that fit the equipment I have in my gym.

Not that it'll deter me from completing this (half done already!), does anyone know roughly how many calories you burn doing 360 jumping jacks (for a total of 6 minutes)?
-
That's an idea... I go to the bathroom a lot, so I may try this.

60 down, only 300 left... phew...

Saving this recipe for later!!

I've heard it's best to eat something small before working out, but I get up to workout at 6:30, and the last thing I want is to eat. When I have tried to eat before working out, I feel like I want to throw it up, whether I'm lifting weights, running or just on the elliptical. I feel better, and my stomach feels calmer, if…
