weigh and measure it, it's VERY dense nutritionally but of so good for you, unless you are OVEREATING it! it's great mashed with lime juice and a salsa....get the flavor but with fewer calories!

go to iifym.com and calulate your macros based on your activity level....you can select your fat loss calorie deficit......use their iifym calculator model, NOT keto or paleo.....or try 40/30/30...to start, 40 protein, 30 carbs, 30% fats.....40% of your total daily calorie goal in protein should maintain your lean mass…

it's not as hard as you think, and you are already food journaling, which is the hardest part, ….so how much more work is it really just to eat better foods with less sugar/carbs and get in more protein, even from fish and eggs would be awesome…. go to this site, use the iifym calculator, change your goals/settings in MFP…

sugar, HAS to GO! are you counting carbs/sugar??????? this always does the trick,..sugar, even from fruit, if consumed in too great a % of total daily calories can be hindering fat loss….you need to be a calorie deficit to lose body fat….have to you ever calculated your BMR or TDEE?

once you lean out enough to see them, they are a muscle like any other, to get growth you need hypertrophy….meaning training hard and heavy, going to failure and then giving them rest like a separate muscle group such as arms :-) the guys with batman abs use heavy weight to train abs,,,body weight crunches never grew…

so you basically need about 30-35g protein EVERY meal if you eat five x day…if you eat red meat and fish, those are "healthy fat" proteins….and you can get some of your dietary fat there, or lean proteins like 99% lean ground turkey, egg whites, chicken, white fish, caned albacore tuna……most people overeat fat and carbs…
