Get some sugar free gum...<5 calories a piece, what's the harm in that? Don't store snacks around where you're getting bored. At my desk at work I'll eat whatever is there, if it's not there I don't eat it.

I'm a little picky with headphones but the following are affordable. I have had Shure Ec2, Klipsch Image S4, and now have Logitech Ultimate Ear 600 buds. I like the buds that fit in the ear cannal. The only negative is they block out all sounds so you need to be careful around traffic. A company called Comply Foam makes…

I don't look at what anyone else is doing, I don't look if anyone else is looking at me, I have in-ear buds that block out all sound, most people probably think I'm a jerk because I don't do anything social except say, "are you done with that bench?". The gym will always be filled with meatheads, pretty people, heavy…

Stretch well, especially places you feel tight or you experience pain. If you never ran you will most likely have an imballance…

Usually shin spints are from high impact excercises (running with a heavy foot) and overuse. You should cut back on your running, attempt to adjust your form if you're hitting the road hard with each stride and ice your shins. A mid-foot strike is fine and can be soft. Don't try to do a forefoot strike or go buying…
