Try a big bottle of cranberry or apple juice. By the time you finish it (not suggesting drinking it all at once) your bowels should be looser than before.

This is a good question. Once upon a time, I used to drink a lot of Powerade (or Gatorade, not really picky,) Arizona Iced Teas, suga-free Kool-Aid and water. Now mostly water, but I'll have an occasional PA/GA because of the electrolytes. I love water! I don't keep track of how much I drink because whenever I drink some,…

Glad you both have been able to inspire one another.

Seeing that number is enough to make your day. PROGRESS! Keep it up!

Ah... a fellow Lakers fan, no? Anyway, your hard work has paid off, congratulations!

Overinduldging junk and fast foods. Gluttony. The first time I considered joining a club or gym, I convinced myself that because I didn't know what I was doing, it was okay to avoid working out. I didn't want to be the guy who constantly asks for help.

Eating almost an entire small pie of pizza. They didn't have any baby pies (4 slices) so I bought the small one (6 I think) and ate 4 or 5 slices before calling it quits.

You've made incredible progress. Keep the wheels rolling as you have momentum!

Male - Steve Harvey. Funny, charismatic, confident, successful, sharp dresser. Female - Alicia Keys. Classy, talented, (I'd assume) smart, sexy, successful.

Though, I still get in regular cardio, I haven't been to the gym in a few months. The one thing that irked me was the smell of the lockerroom. With the steam from the showers, sweaty dudes and just about ALWAYS someone having a bowel movement the moment I step in there -- it's pretty gross. lol

drop as much weight as I can without leaving sagging skin. Begin weight training to build muscle and get toned.

Reading some of your posts. A picture of my niece from when she was an infant. Looking in the mirror and realizing my manb**bs are almost gone.

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on this. I was watching the Dr Oz show (or The Doctors, idr) and they talked about eating something with magnesium can help give you boost of energy. Oatmeal is an option. Best of luck to you!

I don't particularly miss it, but I'm still getting used to not doing it. When laying down, I'd have a tendancy to clasp my hands over the bottom of my stomach. When I lay down now, it feels weird because my stomach has shrunk and continues to do so.

Grew up on TGIF, so I'll have to go with: Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step.

That's great! Keep up the good work! The first time anyone noticed a difference is when I lost close to 20lbs. I get comments from time to time (as I'm still losing), and it doesn't get old.

TheBiggestLosee: I couldn't think of anything creative, then I figured I'd used TheBiggestLoser (which I botched lol) -- but it was taken anyway.

This.

These are some fantastic transformation photos. Great job, guys! More motivation to keep working hard to get results as you all have.

First off, welcome to MFP, Amy; and best of luck in your fitness endeavors. Kcoctx, that is the best post I've read in my short time on MFP. Thanks for posting. I take quotes like those and audio pieces of inspirational speaking and use them for inspiration.

One heck of a transformation. Congratulations!

The first time I ever heard someone ask this question, it made absolutely no sense. Why would anyone be afraid to succeed? After thinking about it on more than one occasion, the only reasonable response I could think of that person who has that image of success in their mind -- is fearful things may not be as how they…

First off, being a newbie and using an alias as I'm protective of my identity online - I don't expect a lot of attention on here. IRL, I'm a bit of a loner who likes time to himself to think, plan, reflect, etc. Over these last 6 months since making an effort to take better care of myself, I have noticed a lot more looks…

Thanks. Pardon those darn typos, ugh.

Some nice shirts which will flatter my new muscular physique. Pants that are simple, yet, somewhat stylish. I'm not an accessories kind of guy, but I'll try some new stuff.

It is probably because we are our most harsh critic sometimes. It could be a matter of "I know I'm losing weigh, but this process is taking too long. Why isn't my stomach flat already? Where is my muscle definition?"

Self gratification and admiration from results so far.
