  • Melt dark chocolate (which is low calorie) & dip fruit into it?
  • by the time it's "time" to eat, I'm always hungry. So... both?
  • Oh there's always SOMEONE on these alcohol threads who resort to "actually, you have a drinking problem!" Didn't take long
  • Uh, I would put "very active" or whatever the higher level of "Active" is. Because 3-5 HOURS ~daily~ is a lot. To give an idea of the scale, I think "lightly active" is more like 30 minutes a day of walking. Like a job where you stand up a lot. Sedentary is desk job. Hope this helps!
  • My opinion is...don't do it. You look nice with that hair color. Blonde might make you look more, I dunno, generic? Plus it's a pain to maintain. And very damaging to the hair cuticle. Stick with the dark hair---if you absolutely ~need~ a change, throw an auburn gloss over it (depositing red hair color isn't damaging like…
  • If you're stalled, try drinking water. A LOT of water (over 2 liters a day) Yeah, yeah, it sounds like a myth but I've heard it works for plateaus & it couldn't hurt.
  • I'm 130 right now, goal weight is 118-122-ish because that's when I looked & felt my best (& I wasn't emaciated or anything----130 is just a bit too much on my frame) If I can do 120-125 with added muscle, that's fine by me too :)
  • Oh wow, look at you! You look amazing, what a hottie :) Seriously awesome transformation!!
  • Okay, then people should just weigh in at home? And when they go to the doctor, mentally account for the difference & don't beat themselves up if the number is heavier (I also weigh first thing in the morning, & usually wind up at the doctor at a later time) Whoooo cares whether people weigh themselves nude or not? Of…
  • What everyone else said, lower your overall body fat % (resistance training, weights). I'm like you, slim build but a stubborn little pooch right under my belly button :(
  • Oh wow, MFP censors curse words now? hahaha oops
  • Okay, I get it, I have a slim build too & so I feel chunky at 5'7", 130 pounds (even though I know, logically, that is NOT fat, it's just too much "extra" for me, personally, although now I'm toning up so it doesn't bother me as much). So, anyway, I won't knock you for attempting to loose weight, BUT you are ~not~ doing it…
  • FFS don't spill it into the garbage. I get so disturbed at those who suggested wasting food this way on here, even as a joke. Anyway, I'd just try to find out how many calories it is---it may not be SO bad---& then just drink it, & walk it off later. I mean, a mocha iced latte is what, at most 200 calories? A good walk…
  • Wait, wouldn't you have already RSVP'd for the wedding? I'm confused; a wedding is not something you decide last minute to go to/not go to (not trying to be antagonistic, just legitimately wondering!)
  • You look great, awesome job!!!
  • I don't have anything against shorter guys, but I'm 5'7" & I like a guy to be taller than me in heels. So 6' (& above; my bf is 6'2") is good for me :)
  • "May" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303361/ Omg, absolutely horrifying
  • Same here! And to whoever said "cereal", yeah, I've heard that too. But maybe try just passing out? Once you hit the bed drunk, you will forget about eating until you wake up.
  • " I might as well be using butter or crisco vegetable oil. " No. Coconut oil is much richer nutritionally than those things. And like the others said---it's a matter of "good" fats & "bad" fats. Also, 90 calories is a drop in a bucket of your overall calorie intake for the day. As long as you aren't globbing coconut oil on…
  • Exactly, I don't know why people are freaking out! It's ~sounds~ weird for sure, but it's not THAT From what I heard, the whole butter-in-coffee thing comes from
  • Also, you probably ARE still eating healthier (than you were before you started logging) by being ~at all~ conscientious when you're ordering. So, don't freak out.
  • I agree that freaking out to the point of tears over misjudging your calorie consumption is indicative of some unhealthy thinking around food. It's really not THAT big of a deal. An extra 200-something calories ONE DAY will not de-rail you :smokin:
  • I'm set to 1240, but typically eat more like 1400 on average, so feel free to add me :)
  • I see way too many posts here made by (mostly) women whose husbands/boyfriends call them "disgusting" or "ugly" or "fat", it's sad. I get telling your partner, in a respectful way, that an article of clothing is not flattering, but nobody who loves you should say you look "disgusting". It's not motivational, it's just…
  • Your body is not a "24 hour clock" when it comes to weight loss, lolol. I mean, if you can't compensate for over-eating, why even bother trying?? I mean, by that logic, anyone who messes up once should just keep eating & eating, because why bother? Basically, OP, yes, you can definitely go a little under calories one day…
  • Don't eat out so often? And if you do, don't eat all of what you order. I understand not wanting to order the light option---if I'm out, I definitely don't want to be crunching on some leaves while everybody else is enjoying themselves. But you should still be mindful...like someone else suggested, get a lighter sauce…
  • When you take the raspberry ketone as directed, you're supposed to only eat 800-1200 calories per day. Sooo, if it works, that's probably why.
  • OMG, gorgeous!! Great job :smooched:
  • Sigh. A bunch of people said it already OP, but I'll say it again, very clearly... at 1200 calories per day, you are ALREADY at a DEFICIT. That's how MFP works. It sets you to be at a deficit. So basically, ~not~ eating back your exercise calories is putting a deficit on top of a deficit (how many more times can I say this…
  • Yeah, it has to do with 1.) how active you said you are 2.) what your weight loss goal is set to. Did you say "sedentary"? Did you say "2 pounds (loss) per week"? That's usually the two things that will make MFP set you at 1200.
