SCREAMING.....HAPPY FRIDAY SLIMSONS <3
-
Healthy4merever, I want to commend you for being an awesome captain. I see how you try to track members down so they can get their weights in and you listen to your team members about the challenges. Job well done:-) Great challenge to ramp things up for April's challenge. I'm on board. That's how to go out with a bang!!!!
-
That's ok vbugsmom, as long as we make an attempt, we still gotta give ourselves a pat on the back, especially, if it is something outside our normal routine.
-
Always....not after living in the same Slimsons household for a month.
-
That's so true. Thanks Serendipity0913:-)
-
I just checked out the May challenge and we are all on different teams. I'm going to miss :'( my Slimsons, but we will be next door, so we can stop by to check on each other.

Hello team mates, so much is going on. I feel like I have seen my family for a while and have to play catch up. I read all your postings. I love the good vibes. It's infectious, make us all want to do good so that we won't let ourselves and the team down. I have been keeping up with my step goals of 10,000 per day. I had a…

Dillyg08 Sign me up. I think the teams we have is quite fine.
-
Way to go Slimsons, you all show up and show the other teams we are in it to win it. Let's keep it going. Let's get our water and steps in this week.
-
You're doing a fantastic job as team captain. Keep up the good work.
-
Great job as always Seredipity0913!!! Congrats to everyone, but most importantly to "The Slimsons" you guys rock.

I'm down for the step and water challenge. I have a fitbit, so I'll increase my steps goal. I work in an office too, but I make myself get up and move.
-
Ditto on the weight loss.
-
I just love the camaraderie in here. You guys made me laugh about the Chipotle bowl. It was good, but too much much onion for me. Yummy bites...looks delicious.
-
Rest days are important. It helps in allowing our bodies to repair. You hardly eat anything. I think increasing your calorie intake might help with your metabolism as well.
-
Sorry team, I had a Chipotle chicken bowl for dinner. After I ate it I remembered the challenge. I will try and off at least half of the calories consumed. ;)
-
No worries, every little bit counts. I know people who loose weight by just changing their eating habits. Hope your back problems will resolve soon, so you can get back to your exercises.
-
Way to go Slimsons, so much to celebrate here. Keep up the awesome job. Day three staying the course on the mini challenge. Going walking after work. It's nice outside.
-
Oh yeah, 16 laps around the track. I was tired, but felt good about my accomplishments. Now that's a win win. I found the secret to weight loss is eat what you want, but in moderation. Portion control is key.
-
Carrie those bites look yummy:')
-
My daughter is doing outdoor track in school. I accompanied her to the track for her exercise and I end up jogging 4 miles. Cooked dinner today. Still no junk.
-
Congrats to everyone. Great stats Serendipity0913!!

Happy Sunday Slimsons. We did pretty good on our first challenge. I checked out the results and we came in 5th. We can only improve from here on out. Day 2 on the challenge. I did very good yesterday as I was stuck in the house doing some cleaning. I accumulated so much steps up and down my stairs all day long. No junk for…

Very nice Carrie.

Great job Slimsons. Way to start our first week. On to the next.
-
Step challenge would be awesome. That would motivate me to get additional steps in since I have a Fitbit. Since an average 10,000 steps is around 4 miles we could do that each day and for those that doesn't have a tracker they can just do mileage. Then we can do the water intake and no processed food for next challenge.…

I would like to make a suggestion to our team lead to have weekly challenges within our team. It would be interesting to see what worked and what didn't and how we can improve for the remainder of this challenge.
